some kind of a junk debt buyer. Threatened to take me to civil court over an old debt. wouldn't provide me with any info & expected me to cough up over the phone. Wouldn't provide anything in writing.

I am trying to get a hold of this collection co bc they hold an hsbc credit card collection account for me but no one ever answers would you happen to have someone extension

i have recently received a call from this company's "legal department"....they didnt want to provide me any information, and threatened to serve me a court summons, they just bought my debt less than a month ago.....and they really wouldnt give any information, but also called my job and left a message disclosing my business .....i think they are shady, the person i spoke to said the company's name was AMA Enterprises

I called the number above and the recording says Capital Exchange Management, the reps name is Bob. I have called so many times trying to get some information about my account that they purchased and I cannot even get a hold of him to make payment arragements or settlement. This is just crazy. I wish this could be considered a form of harrassment covered under the FCRA...."the silent treatment..."..how unprofessional.
