Advertising a better credit score...

He said he had my credit report in front of him. I asked who released it to him. He said Equifax did and proceeded to read from it.  I tried to find out where the company is, he said Santa Ana, CA. He transferred me to his supervisor who said they really don't have my credit report they just have my address and phone number, then hung up.

I did not answer the phone when it rang, but checked the caller ID and "+2124375" was the number listed.  I redialed and operator said international number missdialed.

said my credit score was bad.  gave me the numbers 800-424-0206 and 831-728-3999.  told me he's calling from santa ana, ca - the time he called me was saturday morning 7:30 am eastern - which makes it 4:30 ca time - he woke me up, so i wasn't sharp enough to mention that, although i was pissed and told him to remove me from his database.
