Took me two seconds to find a company called "Alsup Employment Services", so I am not sure who actually called you.  Alsup's website is https://www.truehelp.com/return-to-work/

I just got the same call and they hang up the phone on me

Caller was claiming to be a placement service for Social Security saying “ We can place you in a job making more than minimum wage & you want have to give up your monthly check from Social Security. “

I picked up the fone, they said they are from SSA ticket to work program. They help you to earn income while you are on SSA. Asked for my name, DOB, address and contact number, then put me on hold forever.

I can't make out the name either they must do that on purpose.

This is a scam don’t call back only talk to social security the real social security not a scam like these people from this number never ever give out your private information unless they you know it is legit

They call at least once a month regarding a SS Ticket to Work program.  I have never returned their call and don't plan on doing it. SS would contact me by mail with information about this program, not by phone.

Contacted SSA and was informed this is not a legit phone call. They said the do call regarding the Ticket To Work program but said this number that called 1-800-430-0848 and the number they left in the message for me to call back 1-888-937-4047 are NOT authorized numbers for SSA’s Ticket to work program. They provided me with a website that lists what phone numbers are legit, which I’ve included below. SSA stated when they call regarding the Ticket To Work program it is an automated phone call, so if  it is a person they said do not give any personal information and always call back directly to the proper numbers listed on this website instead of speaking to whoever calls. They also said due to spoof spamming apps in which a caller can type in any number they want to show up on a caller ID that again you should always call back directly instead of assuming it is a legit phone call from SSA. I've called the Social Security Office and they told me that no one will ever call you, they will send a letter.

SSA third party to help you find training and jobs, it boasted the SSA program certified it's program. When I pressed 1 to talk with the person, it hung up. Jan. 13, 2021 1:20 PM.

Another social security scam using a spoofed number, don't even bother answering it.

I receive a call from this number every week on my voicemail, which is strange since their number is blocked.  This is a scam and I highly recommend not answering and definitely do not give them any information.  Social Security does not employ this company and does not cold call.

Social security administration will NEVER call you.

Used to only get a few calls a year from this number, now its daily.  I have investigated this thoroughly and it is a scam.
