800-441-4089

I received this phone calls from 1-800-441-4089 (Caller ID is 1-412-622-7387,pub interest CM) many times.
It seems something fishy and curious. A message left on my answering machine said "This is courtesy call from Chenk."

I keep getting calls from that same number too! They call once a week or so. The ID shows up as 412-622-7387. I never pick up but this time I did and the message said, we're sorry, you just missed a call from us (or something like that). it says to call 800-441-4089 with any questions...This just happened 12:10 pm EST. I didn't catch the name of the company, I thought it said Pix?

just did some research on the 412 number, seems that it is coming from a non profit (Public Interest Communications?). This call came to my cell phone and my number is an area code in PA (and that 412 area code is in Pittsburg, this must be from their office there)

I got 2, at around 9PM on Wed. and Thurs.  The first time, it was only the recording, saying they'd call back.  The second time, I got the female human voice as well, asking for me by name.  Out of curiosity, I tried calling the 800 number early this morning, but got a busy signal.

Now that I have posted, it occurs to me that, since I'm paying Verizon for an unlisted number, a random dialing program shouldn't have my name.  I did click on the website suggested by L, but they're asking for even more information, which I don't want them to have.

They call me twice a week. Same # as above messages. Caller ID is 412-622-7387. Recorded voicemail asks to call 800-441-4089 with questions.

Same here. Keep getting calls from this number, but I never answer. I do wish they'd stop! So apparantly people on here have been complaining about them for a year. I doubt they're going to stop now. Sigh.

I checked out that form too. I just typed "Stop Calling Me!" in every line and it actually went throug. It may not do me any good, but it makes me feel better that someone is going to read it.
