I received a call on my cell phone regarding the survey and free cruise.  I completed the very short, easy survey. Now, how real and "free" are the crusie tickets?

Please contact me at this spot "800notes" and tell me what happened.  It sounds like a scam.

Hi Aisha, I got the same phone call.  I think it's a scam but I see someone thinks differently and actually went on a cruise. Sorry I don't know how long it will take.  That other woman said it was Free.

Good Luck.  I see some get the tickets and some don't.  He said we (2 tickets) would be going to Nausua, Bahamas.

    Please Help,

I'm having problems posting my home phone number, address, social security number and all my bank account and credit card numbers to this site.

Then, hopefully while I'm trying to board a cruise to the Bahamas, but they've never heard of me, thieves can clean out my house and bank accounts and run up my credit cards.  Hopefully the thieves will also nab that annoying little yellow bird.

When I get back, I might need someone to whip-up on me and take my large trash bag full of cash from me.  I'd burn it, but there is a "Burn Ban" on right now.  The thieves won't get my cash 'cause I keep it buried under the white dog house with the red roof in the back yard.  There would normally be a big bowl in front of dog house with "Snoopy" written on it, in bold but slightly shaky block letters, however the thieves will likely take that.

I received a call at 8:01p.m. on October 3, 2011 the operator told me he was offering me to take a survey and I would be awarded a 2 day, 2 night cruise to Nassau, Bahamas.  Just answer a few questions and you will receive 2 free complimentary tickets for a 2 day, 2 night cruise to Nassau, Bahamas.  He instructed me to give him my telephone number, zip code, and name.  He proceeded to tell me to go to www.surveycruise.com and type in the telephone number and zip code I had given him over the telephone.  The operator said once you put in your information a picture and information about the cruise ship would be shown.  You will receive a confirmation call within 72 hours.  I went to website and typed in information requested and received an "information inconsistent" message.  There is no contact information for consumer to contact the company direct on their website.  The company number that I received the call from is 503-457-1028.  The Website is named United Public Opinion with a message "Engineering Consumer Surveys".  I'm looking forward to receiving my 2 free tickets.  They need to be brought to justice if it is a scam.

I got a follow up call a bit later and yes. I am still not entirely sure if the cruise is real but I do know that it seems more likely that it is since they say that the port is on the coast of Florida and you have to get there on your own. It is likely, from what you say that they are affiliated or are (from what it sounded like to me) a travel agency who would earn money from having to transport you from say the West Coast all the way to Florida for your free cruise at your expense. This would explain why Florida residents are not eligible. The two numbers used for the follow up call are 9-545-679-9353 - This number when called back will take you to    ostensibly their business office and will give you the option to speak to a representative by pressing '0'. 800-530-9744 will link you directly to a real person. When asked about Surveycruise.com, they will admit to knowing of it but beyond that they say they are a separate company and so do not know the details of what was asked of you in your survey. They will say that their call to you is a result of the survey. When I understood that there is no way in the near future that I would ever be finding myself all the way on the opposite side of the country in Florida, I politely asked to be removed from their database and they placed me on a "do not call" list. As far as I can tell, it is not a scam but rather an inconvenient prize for anyone who is not already planning a trip to Florida.
