- nettiePerson called wanting a "donation" of certain amounts of money. Told me she was working and that her child had died. She went on to say that she'd been at this a whole week. I told her that I didn't donate over the phone, but if she would send me the information I could verify it and if it was legitimate, could donate $10. She said she was going to send me a gift for my donation, I told her no thank you, but she said she'd send it anyway. I told her again, I didn't want anything, she could send the info. Then a "supervisor" got on the phone, tried to get me to pay over the phone with a credit card and I repeated my statement that I would look at the paperwork, but didn't want any "gifts".
Scissors arrived in the mail about a week later and I immediately called and left a voice mail stating I did not order the item and was not going to pay $35 for a pair of scissors.
Now I have received a second threateining bill demanding payment for something I did not order. SCAM!!!!!
If this is a legitimate business, they are not training or supervising their employees. Otherwise they are using disadvantage individuals to SCAM people.- Caller: American Handicapped and Disadvantaged W

- LizziIt appears they are still at it. Sent a gift of scissors which were never ordered, and then a bill for $41.45 for the scissors, which was for way more than the scissors were worth. This is American Handicap and Disadvantaged Workers, possibly out of Phoenix. They first asked for a donation and information on the program was requested. Just got the scissors.

- Megan| 1 replyLooks like this "company" scammed my elderly mother out of $99.95 on 9/17/2014. Looking on the internet, there is no information on this company, other than it is categorized as a telemarketer, with a yearly income of $500,000-$1 million.
- BigA replies to MeganWhat was the name of the company, what was their address, where did you get that information?. Also, what was the name and phone number on the bank statement or credit card statement?
There are some listing for the afore mentioned company in the previous post, but before I gather information for you I want to be sure we are talking about the same company.
You can also attempt to dispute the payment through the bank, but you have a limited time to do it so I would call them up right away at their toll free number.
