800-453-8204

We have been getting fake emails from a fake Amazon, that is using 800-453-8204 in the emails as the Amazon security contact phone number.  I have located this number listed on many fake phone call number sites.  This site is the one I use the most, and did not find it listed here, which shocked me.  That is why I am reporting it here now.

I did not find any reports listed in any web search results, which shocked me that were able to. This site allows people to come and report their unwanted/unknown callers and you are now the first for this number.
Note: Many people recognize fake emails and simply delete them without taking the time to report about a number that appeared on it.

I received a email saying I had a order confirmation from Amazon for 2700 dollars I nearly dropped dead because u would never make a purchase that large online so when I tried to contact the number which said it was for fraud...it just rings and rings and rings.. im still worried about this email and looking further into it...

The phone number was in an Amazon order confirmation email. It was my name and the wrong shipping address. I did not call it. The email that pops up when I hit order.confirmation is james6499wil@gmail.com.

I also got a "confirmation order" email, I have not called or made contact as this may give them a gateway, I know that my account is secure and had I made such a large purchase, it would be on hold until they received a security call.

WE have received this same number from Amazon security and found our to our dismay it has nothing to do with Amazon. We are out $1,000.00. Amazon needs to make their really fraud help number more easy to reach.

Got an email from order.confirmation it comes up as lexi786gree@gmail.com stating I had made a purchase.
Call number was 800-453-8204, reported it to my email company. I did not call!

Saturday, May 22, 2021 received this fake email as well.

Same as the others, got an order confirmation of a purchase I didn't do.  Stupidly I didn't pay attention to the e-mail that sent that confirmation, and I did call this phone number, and after "helping" me to cancel that order for me, the guy (Mike) transferred me to the "Fraud Department" because there was another $400 purchase to Ebay that needed to be cleared as well but Ebay was not collaborating. The "Amazon Fraud Dept" would still help me and asked me to go get gift cards for that.  I told the guy it didn't make sense to me, and he started to get mad, so I hung up.  I've heard a lot of fraud through gift cards, but I also got into my Amazon account and obviously the order number of reference was not found and never made... don't waste your time like I did!!  But definitely report it!
