Caller stated he was from Medicare and wanted to verify I received my new Medicare card.  Then he wanted my new Medicare card number to verify. it was mine.  Since I have already usef my new number for medical servives, and Medicare claims have already been filed, I told him that if he was from Medicare, he should already know if I reveived the new card.  Hung up immediately.

This is an FTC verified Social Security or Medicare Imposter Scam. Many people have fallen prey to these scammers and millions have been lost by senior giving them gift card numbers.
I let the call go to voicemail just now. There was an aggressive sounding Male robovoice who said my Social Security account has been suspended due to "suspicious activity". I MUST call them back and it threatened if I did not call back a Federal arrest warrant would be issued for my arrest for not complying.
This NOT either the Social Security Administration or U.S. Medicare.... neither entity would ever call a person like this. You would get a letter via U.S. Mail and you would never be threatened like this.
These scammers are hoping these calls land to a phone picked up by a senior citizen who might be frightened into doing what they want and losing their savings. They did not get that by calling my number.

The kind of call since it is FTC verified is not spam suspicion... it IS a Scam and a very harmful one to the vulnerable.

Claiming to be from Medicare.  Medicare does not call people so I knew this was instantly a scam. Hung up.

I do not answer these stupid calls>  it is getting soooooooooooooooooo old!!!!
