I called the number back and recording says it is associated with a polical group and is exempt from most restrictions.  
We might as well just answer so it can finally remove itself from the call queue now that they have contacted you.

This number you can't talk and you can't get removed and when you listen you listen to stuff we don't want to listen to.  We are on the do not call list.  This means everyone including political BS.  Unwanted call via a automated.

This is a recorded message from an anti-Romney group.  No option to delete and they do not leave messages.

This is a robo-call from a Newt Gingrich PAC and you can't block it.   It should be illegal and the only way to get back is to not vote for the [***] that runs it.   I just changed MY vote to go FOR Romney.   These sleazeballs don't know what damage they do with these awful and interrupting calls, but I won't help them!!!

This number has been calling us for the last two weeks. I'd rather vote for Beevis or [***] than these candidates.

Oh ya it doesn't matter the do not call list does not apply to the politicians why is that surprising.  I received a call from this number again today.  Today it was about winning our future?  Call it back and it has some message about something?  Bottom line can't be removed from that number it appears they work for the winning our future people(maybe hired)

Calls frequently lets phone ring just 3 times, the answer machine picks up after 4 rings..........they must somehow know that

Unwanted political robocalls.  Yesterday, call from 800-466-4323 supporting Gingrich.  Today, call from 800-466-4323 supporting Romney.  Make up your mind, but more importantly stop harrassing me!

All political calls are unwanted at my house.  I don't care who you are & what you want from me. I am also on do not call list - little good that does.

We are receiving a minimum of 5 calls per day from the Mitt Romney campaign from the # 1-800-466-4323.  Being told by our provider, Centurylink that they cannot block these calls.  I pay the phone bill here and should be able to have unwanted calls blocked!  Anyone have ideas how to handle this.  I am seriously considering dropping our home phone after 32 years of service.

This is a political call bad-mouthing Romney.  I hung up on the voice...not a real person.  If you answer this call, it takes a few seconds for the computer voice message to start.

Bill, I just found out that it belongs to Mitt Romney's Campaign Group, not Gingrich. But who wants to vote for either one if they are going to harrass the voters for their votes. To hell with them all, Republicans, Democrats, Independents - politicians, legalized Mafia

I work for the phone company and am getting slammed everyday with multiple phone calls. I am just about ready to do away with my home phone and just use my cell phone. But, how long will it be before they start calling all cell phones? It is a 'no win' situation, whether you answer or don't. They should be able to be blocked, we, as a people, need to ban together and file a formal complaint with the Federal Government. They regulate everything else we do, why can't they regulate the use of these calls?

They called 1 minute after 9 pm.  I think this is a violation of the exemption for political calls.  I just pick up the phone, count to 3 and hang up so they can't leave a message. lol

This is not an ad, but like you my hard-wired phone company couldn't block many numbers even though I was a paying heavily for "call block."

I switched my phone service to my cable co, (Brighthouse) and they gave me a 30-number call block (that I control)  that works with any VOIP, cellphone or landline number.  See what your local provider can do for you...I also shaved $40 a month off both the cable and phone bill by bundling.  So far, no regrets.
