This Number called & didn't say anything

They called early one morning asking for a Brenda someone.  I replied they had the wrong #.  She gave me my seven digits and said that she had talked previously to that person from my number.  I assured her there was no one here by the number.  She indicated she would try back later!  I told her to not call back but perhaps check the area code!  A few days later at 6:00 AM they called back and was less friendly and they hung up.

That I was used for reference and that they were the CPS

Received call - let voice mail pick up. Number on ID 1-888-469-4520. Left message to call back "Consumer Portfolio Services". they did not ask for anyone in particular.
Scam…!

Not a scam, it's a debt collection agency that buys out old loans. Fireside Bank sold my truck loan to them, I wasn't even told and we were current on pmts.

Its not a scam, it is Consumer Portfolio Services, they are a Financial Lender, mostly of Automobiles. They place calls to people who have loans with them or their references when customers are behind on payments. Yup.....

Called, left no message. Has called numerous times!

Yup, (800) 469-4520 these fools are SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS trying to get your credit card and bank information block their # before they empty your bank account. If they want $$$$ go get it from their momma 😂 get a life and a job fool.

This is a collection agency and they are relentless! They are looking for my ex brother in law... which I haven't spoken to in years... I have told them this on more than one occasion and they have continued to harass and call me 2-3 weeks... they are blocked but can leave a VM.. and they do.. .EVERY SINGLE TIME

Simple solution.  Certified, return receipt "not me" letter telling them to cease and desist calling.  Might have to follow it up with a lawsuit, but making them pay you big bucks will make you happier and should really get the message across to them.
