- BamaDad| 2 repliesRecd call from this number on 5/29 at 5:52pm - never scheduled an appointment with Sears, never gave them my cell phone number, don't even do business with Sears. Suspicious. Would like to know how they got my personal cell number!
- Kat| 6 repliesHmmm, would dearly LOVE to know why Sears repair is calling me. I have an appointment scheduled for today, but here's the funny part.....it ISN'T with Sears!!! I have a Whirlpool serviceman coming to fix my flattop stove, and I went through Whirlpool directly. In fact, to the best of my knowledge, the builder did not buy any of the appliances from Sears. So why is Sears now calling both my home and my cell phone numbers? An even better question is, if they were calling for a legitimate reason, why haven't they left any messages?
- Caller: Sears Repair??
- karen replies to KatI am not sure, but I think that Whirlpool and Sears are now one in the same. One bought out the other one's appliance division. That could be why Sears called to repair your whirlpool appliances.
- Broken Dryer Man| 2 repliesI did have an appointment on friday... last week! They're still bothering me at 8:30 am on tuesday. They've called me twice since my appointment. Maybe they want to know if I'm satisfied?

- PaulThe people who make these calls for Sears are to say the least inept and uninformed. They are a perfect example of the old saying, "Their right hand does not know what their left hand is doing". If you choose to take the call... do not expect much in regard to resolution of your problem with Sears. Most of the calls are outsourced, and most of the representatives speak very poor English. If you CAN communicate with them and do manage to feel like you have actually "connected" with the rep you are speaking to beware... someone up line or down line from the rep will misinterpret what you have said and [***] up your service call anyway. I would higly suggest purchasing "major items from another source than Sears because, frankly, you will find that you cannot deal with Sears regarding repairs under warranty or not under warranty. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!
- AJWas Sears calling (pre-recorded message) to say thanks for choosing them for the service the performed (they did fix my dryer the other day) and an invite to participate in a survey.
