H&R Block calling to sell some crazy service I've never heard of and don't want. My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry, so they shouldn't be calling me anyway. I called them back, pressed "0" to get an operator and told them I wanted off of their call list. If I ever get another call from them, I'll file an FCC complaint.

I have no idea why they called me.  I have never used their services ever.  This is a clear violation of the do not call list.

This was an automated reminder call of an appointment from H&R Block.  Not sure why I received the call even though we met with our H&R Block tax person yesterday.

Appointment reminder. Call service that won't take NO for an answer. Yeah, they usually call after my appt. too to check if I was happy, an automated survey.
Maybe I'll tell them I changed my phone number this year, like to, say, 800-472-5625. Heh heh heh.

Saw the toll-free number and didn't answer.  I had my taxes done over 2 months ago and they're calling me NOW for a survey?

Why bother me with something that is ok,don't mess it up with unwanted phone calls.

I do have an appointment to have my taxes done this week, but as with everyone else, they didn't leave a message. That makes me doubt that this was a reminder call. In the past they have called to remind me to make an appointment even after I already had one. That is probably what this was.

Block calling to confirm an appointment. You can now have the agent where you do your return check a box to only have real people call you instead of these callbots; but either way, they are doing business with you at your request, so why are you complaining???

Very annoying as I didn't have an appointment. I do my own taxes. Never use an outside company. Just a marketing ploy.

When you give Block your phone numbers, they are trained to enter in the software what numbers it's OK to call. When you make an appointment though, they will call to remind you. The preparers don't want to leave other customers waiting ibecause someone didn't show up for their appointment

We just got a cell phone call and voice mail from this number saying it's an appointment reminder from H&R Block.  There's only one catch:  We don't use H&R Block and do not have an appointment with them.  If this call was legit, they would have gone ahead and left the appointment date & time in the voice mail -- it would still have been wrong but at least it would have been an honest mistake.  No; H&R Block is cold calling from a list and trying to drum up business.  By returning their call, you are verifying both your name and phone number.  Don't fall for it.

I'm complaining because I did NOT ask them to call!  Further, you should read comments before posting your own.
