Collection agency "GC Services".

"Monica Alexander" called asking me to relay a message to one of my neighbors.  Interestingly, our phone number is unlisted and the neighbors in question are renters.  Very strange.  When I asked the nature of the call, she said "personal."

As report by others Monica Lux called and asked me to relay a messsage to a neighbor i did not know. Same question is this legal?

when i got home from being out at work over the night I found a note attached to my door that told me to call Leo Calderon and it had this same number written down   1-800-475-7300

Got a call from Eugene asking me to leave a message for one of my neighbors (Dmitri -- who I do not know). "He must have changed his number and forgotten to tell me"  Yeah, right.  1-800-475-7311 is the call-back number.

Kevin Grimm from GC Services called me at work 5-29-09 told him could not take call at work, tried to get address didn't want to give it to me.  On 6-2-09 called again, told him again can't take calls at work and to contact me by mail.

Collection agency GC Services. Philip Kirk left a  message with my neighbor that my phone has been disconnected and he is trying to get ahold of me.  I have answered his calls, I owe on a citi bank credit card.  I have told him, Eugene from there and another girl that we have has come clients not pay us and our income is very reduced and we are planning on resume payments to the credit card as soon as we can.  I have also written them a request to stop calling me and to only contact me by mail, as it says in a debt management book that a friend gave me.
I think what they are doing violates the Fair Debt Collection regulations.

GC Services called regarding a past due debt from Citi Cards. Girl was  threatening, uncooperative and downright rude. Tried to explain that funds were not available at the present time to make cancelled credit card payments, most of which were charges accrued from Citi Cards and she told me to "get the money from family and friends". I asked her if she was living in this country and she said she was in San Diego and I responded that there must not be a recession going on in San Diego because there certainly was where I lived. She demanded that I make a payment right then and there and I told her I had no money. She asked about house payments then asked where I banked then asked how I was buying clothes and food. I told her that I was using savings and credit cards that had not yet been cancelled like Citi Cards. She kept on with the family and friends issue and finally I had to say good bye as the conversation was not going anywhere.

Got a call from Erica Kimball, who called two cell phones listed as emergency contacts at my work.  Not sure how she got my emergency contacts, but I'm going to find out.  That's fraud! They can't call my work asking for emergency contact information.

Getting calls at all hours asking for 'Oscar'.  There is no one here by that name and I've had this phone number for years.  And yet, they keep calling...  Annoying!

I got a call from Erica Kimball tonight! She was not looking for me, but someone I know. I told her I was not in contact with this person anymore, she proceeded to tell me that she KNOWS I talk to this person because my neighbors told her so. What the heck?! Who is this person, and is contacting all my neighbors and telling them to pretty much "stalk" my house illegal? She has called my phone every night for the past 2 weeks. I asked who she was and why she was calling, she said it was regarding a "claim" but refused to give out the company name she worked for...Right there I would have a lawsuit right? Aren't they required to give out the information?

Why do you guys even bother to talk to these a$$ clowns? They have already been bailed out by the government you know. What ever they collect now is just simply extra profit for them. Don't even answer 800, 877, etc. etc. phone numbers. If you really want to pi$$ them off then tell them upfront that you are recording the call for lawsuit purposes...LOL !!

calling for relatives and said he had to get a hold of someone regarding a death.  He said his name was Norman and it was kind of an emergency.

The actions these people do against the American citizen makes these people  terrorist and should be reported to homeland security.

These guys probably work outside the US, probably Canada .  They hire teens and old people and give them tools to look up info on people that would be illegal to do in the US.  Of coarse it is US companies paying these people. They will do anything to calling neighbors, your work, your friends, and lying to get you to pay a debt even if you don't owe it.

ITS A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY, NOTHING ELSE!

Wanted to Talk to my daughter,  a preditor of sorts, trying to decieve or trick my daughter in some fasion.

Called my son in law and daughter on their cell phone. Demanded payment in full by Monday on an outstanding Sears debt (which they do have)  will not give them an address for payment, will only take $$ over the phone!  Called Sears and got the internal recovery phone number, will call them Monday to validate this supposed collection agency!!  Beware!!!  Know your rights and protect yourself!!

Same thing for me. I always google their phone number and most of the time it's a SCAM.
