Was given the callback # 1 800 495-9816 from a Solo Mobile rep ??

We rec'd a call from them this morning -you could tell it was a call centre with all the background noise.
However he was very polite and asked if this was a business number.  As soon as I said it was, he apologized and ended the call.

The guy called me today and introduced himself as Don. He said he is calling from Bell Canada!!!! The phone number he gave me is 800-495-9816. I believe the real Bell Canada should be aware of this and take the necessary measures. It's realy frustrating.

i've received many calls from this number, i was told i was talking to "Michael Clark", I also talked to "Gavin Robinson" and obviously by the accent they are NOT Canadian, they claim to be representing several different cell companies, i've kept notes, names and numbers, and have called and gave this info to the phone companies they claim to be representing. Every company I called to confirm these so called promotions all say they have NOTHING to do with any of this, so DON'T give any personal info. When they call the first thing i ask for is a name and contact number to be sure i'm not being scammed, then i hang up and call Bell or Solo and give them the info. This is a scam, don't fall for it. They also claim to be centered out of Calgary.

I just wanted to update everyone to the status of the phone number "1-800-495-4248." We have just purchased this number from a popular 1-800 number provider for our underground utility locating company, and is no longer owned by the telemarketing company that was giving everyone problems. Thanks!
