more for businesses...they want to "verify" your company name and address, say they are a free advertising for the internet so that people can see your name more often, blah, blah, blah.  Then, after 30 days, they automatically charge your phone bill for the service.  They tell you this in a round-a-bout way.  Thank God I asked!  You have 30 days to cancel without any charges.  And, they are very very pushy.  You think you're saying NO, but they're not taking it that way. You really have to get mean with them.

I received that same call from these people and told them I am not authorizing any charges and they said they wouldn't charge me but they still wanted all that info that I would not give them.  But I did get their phone number to call back and I found this information posted.  Best not to answer these people just hang up. If you tell them your information they will use it to tell your telephone company that you were authorizing the charges.  LIARS!

They actually charged us through our local phone company without our authorization.  Those people are operating more like a scam than a real legitimate company.  Not sure which consumer organization I should contact about this.  If someone know, please share.  I would like to make a phone call to them to complain about this formally.  So called business like this should be shutdown permanently.

They charged my business too.  They are located in CA so I filed a complaint online.  Its such a scam.

The same thing happened to me. I never got one hit during the trial period. They were supposed to send an e-mail and call before a 30 day free trial ended to cancell the trial at no charge. They called the corporare office and requested payment of $75.00. I have a call to them now to say the phone number of the Federal Trade Commsission is 1-877-382-4357 and a complaint is being filed. "SPAM CITY" Don't go there!

Folks these people are unbelievable dirt bags.

They are genuine scam artists, and you are best served by NOT talking to them!!!

This number, 800-510-6061, Local Connect Services - where to begin.  They called me 4 times in a two day period.  They demanded to speak to "a manager."  They are rude, pushy - each and every time.  And they are rude from the onset of every call - which is quite a tactic when you're a telemarketer.  I kept telling them NO NO NO, yet they kept calling.  They even argued with me that they had not in fact called me repeatedly, which was the last straw and I'd had it.  I was less than my normal cheery self after that exchange and they've not called back...knock on wood.
