Received two calls today from this number, did not anwer, no message left.

This is a collection agency for Macy's. I checked after reading these sites and I DID have a past-due balance on the store card part of the card, not the Amex part of the card. I had no idea :(

Me too - didnt call them back but checked the accounts and the store card had an overdue balance. Could be scam, but they could have gotten some info from debt collection agency maybe?

This was a macys collection agency for an ashley. Im not ashley. They call twice a day.

Just got a call. Picked up and nothing.
I have been getting a lot of calls like this lately although not necessarily from this no.  I am going to start keeping a log and report consistent callers.

I had a call from this number with a recording stating it is Macy's and to call back regarding a personal matter.
I do not have a Macy's card and I live in Canada.

macy's dont have anything to do with them this is a scam.

I received a message and like so many others, no Macy's card or account.  This is a scam.  No doubt about it.

After calling Macy's (I have a card I rarely use and has no balance or past due) I called this number back and questioned them about the call.  The guy said it was Macy's and Bloomingdales but wouldn't answer any questions and hung up.  I think this is a scam.

I don't answer calls from "UNAVAILABLE".  All the postings seem to indicate Macy's Credit Card (which I do not hav, nor want).  I work from home and the phone line is dedicated to business.

Keep getting calls from this number. called Macy's said nothing is wrong with my account. this is a Fraud. put on the do not answer list.

Just call them back twice for every time they call you and be quiet and listen to them until they disconnect.  Call back. If enough people doe this they might get the message. Nothing else works.

This is a total scam.  They call several times a day.  I called them back telling them to get me off their list. I always google a number when I do not recognize it or call the number on the back of my credit card when I know something is suspicious.  Macy's fraud department told me this call did not originate with them.

I keep getting the same calls even though I have a zero balance. When I called back they tried to get my account number and SS# too. If they're really from Macy's, why don't they have your info? Sounds like a scam to me.

Thanks for the back up for this number  I just received a call from this number 7-1-13.  I have contacted Macys fraud dept.

I can not believe how many times they call me in one day, yes I have a Macy's account and it is not past due and paid in full.  However after reading all of these posts I am closing my Macy's account and will no longer do business with Macy's , this is the only credit card I have which in my opinion is constant harassment
and everybody should know about.
