this person says that i m in usa stole my friendz credit card info n stole the dollar for 380.72 $ from my  frnd card report it n please help me out the name was mark brain n he says that he is a credit card processor n says that he is from some customer service  processing center pls i request help me out

The same person called me trying to authorize a credit and when I asked him for his last name, he refused to give one and said that he was calling from a third party credit card processing company, Scott V. Boruta and wanted to process $652 from my account

My son got a strange call at his job from Harrison Law Firm Mr. Brian Shelton(Paralegal) 1(530)230-9555.  This man threatened my son by saying he and the local police would be at my son's job waiting to serve him legal papers in the morning, he also told him he was going to make sure he spent at least 6 months in jail.  When I called the above number I spoke with a John Peterson who said he was the Senior Atty. with the firm.  I asked him if he was the one who called my son, he said no it was Brian Shelton.  I asked him if it is legal to call and harass and threaten people?  He said yes!   I told him we had just seen a special on our local news station this morning about fraudulent companies and people running scams to get money out of people.  He kept saying oh we are not fraud.....  I said yeah well I don't know that and I am not going to give you any personal information nor pay him a dime since tonight is the last night to do so and he did not have time for me to call around in the morning to verify any of what he said.  I told him to send his Investigation Team and his local police to my home in the morning and we will be there waiting.  He just hung up.    Do we scream FRAUD Here!!!!???    This man claimed he/his firm worked for the Law Offices of Scott V. Boruta , he said they had 17 offices across the USA and gave me an address of 11606 Fox Creek Drive Tampa Florida 33635. and 1(800)442-0389 is the customer srvc # that will show on your statement after you make the pmt they are requesting.   This man was very rude!!!   Everytime I asked him for information, he would hang up on me.

I was contacted by the Cosmic Ball Law Firm since July'2010 on a payday loan.  The individual who contacted me was, He said that his name was Johnathan Lloyd.
Of Little, California.  I have been called, call after call requesting that I send them $150.00 per month until paid.  Therefore, I have been sending them that amount when I can.  For the last two payments I have been sent this receipt from 2 Scott V. I have been getting harassing phone call from a Jeff Stuart or Jay Fontana he gives me a different name and number every time he calls.  I decided to ask him for information regarding the loan in question and was told that in 6 weeks after payment is in full I would receive the information.  He calls me several times a day at work and on my cell hpone saying that if I do not pay a Federal agent is coming for me.  I decided to do a little research about this and it is a scam.  According to laws about debt collections they must provide you with information and CANNOT HARASS you it is the law.  Last night Jeff Stuart called again saying get a lawyer I need and wished me luck.

I have been receiving the same phone calls threatening to have a sheriff at my place of employment. Everytime I ask what I need to make a payment on the man on the other ends flips out and continues to threaten me. I am glad I have read these posts and now I know this is a scam. I paid it the first time because he scared me. No more.

i also was getting these calls and like a foul i set in a little money after i found out it was a scam i call the attny general office and filed a complaint now my bank is filing charges against mr. scott burota and some company name cbi i was told i will get my money back

My husband got a call from some Law office by the name of John Peterson 18005181226 says that he needs to pay his outstanding payday loan.  Threating that he was going to show up at my husbands work and take him to California jail and take him to court on Judge Judy.  He knew all of my husbands information.  So my husband pays them 200.00 for now and here they take out 400.00.  Just recently I was looking at my husbands bank account there was another transaction for 389.00 for a Scott Burota 8134252642.  What kind of people would do this?

Scott Boruta is a scam artist. He and his wife are living large in a $3500 month house driving BMW's and living the good life. Do not send any money to these people!

This is rediculous. These people are harassing me and my friends. They have names and numbers of people that I never provided on the initial paperwork. They threatened my friend today stating that she will be under investigation until she gives this message to me. And then on top of that they are telling personal information about the debt. Isn't that illegal!

I have made 2 payments to them for $100 each. And today this man who said he was "Officer Alan Taylor" told me that I have made no payments on my account. I freaked out on him. Then I called an attorney. I could really use that money. I told him that he was getting no further information from me until he answered my questions. "Are you an officer for a government agency or a lawyer" answer - lawyer. "Where are you located" answer - we have offices all over the US. "But where are you" answer - Colorado. "Where in Colorado" answer - ummm Alamosa.

He told me he had to investigate the missing payments and call me back. For a company who calls at least 13 times a day...I haven't heard back from them yet.

By the way, do all the callers have a strong Indian accent? Every single one that I have talked to does. I assumed this was call center over seas. I asked him where he was

I contacted the company on my 'receipts' from Scott Boruta Legal Group and left a message. Lets see what happens. Waiting on lawyer to call back as well. I am so angry right now I cannot believe it!!!

I have been getting calls from this number for 3 months. I ignored them for a while and then they started making threats about being arrested and having to pay at least $7000 for an attorney. They just kept threatening and calling. Even calling me at work and harassing co-workers, giving out personal information about the debt. Then they were calling at least 2 of my friends telling them that they would be under investigation until they delivered the message to me and I called them back. On top of that they volunteered personal debt information with them. In the midst of all this I ended up paying $200 and yesterday I was told that I did not make those payments. I did call a man back yesterday (12/9) and spoke to him but when I tried to call him later in the day the same phone number was disconnected.

I have told them a time when I get off work and when I will call them back. They still call multiple times throughout the even though they know I am at work. One day they called 13 times! Now that I stood up to them I cannot get a hold of anyone.

I left 2 messages on this number and informed them I contacted a lawyer and wanted a refund posted to my account ASAP. Still no response.

He told me they deal w/ all types of payday companies. After he scared me to death. He told me I could make pymnt arrangements to pay the debt off. I offered to pay $150 once a month. They harrass you every 1-2 mins. The 1st charge went thur fine. The 2nd month I had 2 pymnts come out of my acct. One for $150 and the other for $149.99. It didn't say what company. After the transaction went thur it had LAW Office and 1-800-442-0389.  They said their a credit card processing company that process paymnets for debt collectors. The debt collects sound like their from India and you can barely understand what they are saying. They told me once I pay the loan off I will receive a e-mail from the company from whom I owed............
