Unknown number and I have blocked this number before but obviously it doesn't work. And I am on the 1-800 do not call. But they still call.

Blocking conveys no message and does not prevent them from making phone calls.  I'm really astonished that you did not know that.

Blocking only stops the phone from ringing and there is no such "1-800 do not call" that I could find, however there is The National Do Not Call Registry  which only applies to Sales calls, as it is not a call blocker.

After reading their post, I am not at all surprised that they do not know that.
What does astonish me is that they figured out how to block the number (unless they had help).
