Received call from this number, but no message.  What is it???

called yesterday too left 0 second message called back recording said they may call back nothing telling who they are?  Very frustrating but I have call forwarding so I redirected them to a political phone number!

This is an automated political poll.  It is not a legitimate pollster because they do not identify themselves at the start of the call, as required for all prerecorded calls, and they called my cell phone which is also illegal for automated calls.

If you call them back at their 800 number, you get a profanity.  I'd like to know which politician though it would be a good idea to hire this "professional" polling firm.

This number needs to be researched and person fined.  They call and if you call it says you are a bunch of dumb s**ts!!!

I called this number back also.  It said that we are all a bunch of dumbe [***] & hung up. I don't know who this is & I don't know how to report this toll free number.

Let's all dial this number every time we pass a pay phone... We'll see who the dumbs**t is with a $10,000 phone bill!

This Non dumb $#%@ didn't call it back.  After they called four times in an hour (I didn't answer)  I reported the number to charter.  If I were you... DON"T call the number back they are probably tracking the phone numbers and selling them to companies.

It is a political campaign call.  It was a prerecorded message from Patti Murray (D-WA).  They called me 5 times today and I was @$W# annoyed.  Typical political BS right before election.  That said, it cost my vote.

this is a number that continues to call.  i answer it and a woman with a overseas voice ask for the head of the home. i hung up saying no one was here.

No message was left but a series of dial tones trying to access my phone line.

received a message...caller said hello and then sat on the line breathing hard...towards the end of the call he said.....may your grandkids forever boil in water.  would love to report this phone # but called back and just got a voice messaging.

Received a call today from Joel Winnig for Wisconsin Supreme Court. I'm on the no-call list so wonderful way to try and shakedown citizens for votes.

This number was on this afternoon's call log. Although the caller left no message I doubt that it is from anyone exempted from the Do-Not-Call list. Reporting these number to an understaffed/underfunded government agency hardly seems worth the effort. Instead I'll use the links below to report these abuses and my annoyance to my congressman and both senators. If these three, and their staffs, are buried in this kind of complain they might write more enforcable and more effective laws and/or support more effective regulations. Technology provides scammers and the entire telemarketing industry with ways around current regulations.

7th SD residents who responded to a call sponsored by the Citizens for Progressive Wisconsin bashing state Sen. Jeff Plale got a surprise.

"You all are a bunch of dumb s----," is what they heard if they called 1-800-528-4187, the number that registered on their caller IDs.

Citizens for a Progressive Wisconsin spokesman Eric Hogensen said the call was handled through a national vendor, and he believes the message on the call-back was altered by a hacker. He said the group is investigating how that happened.

The call told voters that Plale's campaign is being propped up by former Republican Assembly Speaker Scott Jensen and his group, the American Federation for Children.

"So why would this Republican help Democrat Jeff Plale?" the call asked. "Because they both worked together in Madison ...To privatize Social Security. To outlaw stem cell research. And to deny a woman's right to choose, even for victims of rape and incest.

"Jeff Plale should support us, not the right-wing agenda of his Republican allies," says the call.

Hogensen said the message that callers found when they called the phone number shouldn't obscure the overall message: "Scott Jensen is trying to get Jeff Plale elected. That's what should concern Milwaukee County voters.''

TV records show Citizens for a Progressive Wisconsin has purchased $64,845 of air time on Milwaukee TV affiliates.

The two-week buy began Aug. 31 and runs through Sept. 13 2010

Now when you call back you get a message saying not to leave a message if you missed a call because they'll call back but there;s no indication who they are or what they want. Very annoying.

John Barrow keeps calling my work cell phone number with this caller id (800-528-4187). It's an auto recording that hangs up when done. There is no unsubscribe option. No return number given. And when I call the 800 number back, all I get is a generic answering machine....

I called Mr. Barrow's office directly, no one knew any list to remove me from and could not help in the least.

Not a way to win votes there Mr. Barrow...
