- Hate spam callsJust got off the phone with BB&T fraud department, and they said this number is not associated with their bank. The BB&T fraud department call this number and they informed me that this is a spam call, the type that tells you you have won a free vacation or cruise if you'll answer their questions (and probably pay a $100 processing fee that you can charge to your credit card.)
- ListenCaller states have questions about BBT account.

- CGot a VM saying they were from BB&T. I called back and the hold message said they were a debt collector. I called my BB&T branch and they said there were not notes on my account or debts that BB&T would be trying to call me about. This was a fraudulent caller trying to get info on my account.

- JordanaThey call 5+ times per day on the business line at work. Asking to speak with the owner or accounts payable. After realizing it was fraud I'd give wrong dates and times for the "business owner" to be available. Ive said they have the wrong place and tried every option in the book but they still won't stop calling. It's obnoxious. When you call the number back first it says it's BBT BANK then the following sentence is that there a debt collection agency... So really confusing and annoying!
- Caller: BBT BANK/collection agency
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Sister Teresa Ireneasked for fed id # or checking acct #. I wouldn't give it to them. THey had my address correct. UGH

- office assistantCall work phone all the time. Caller ID says Truist. Reads off charges they believe to be fraudulent. Very generic charges, like fast food restaurant, utility bill, then an obviously fake charge. Then sends you to person who asks for name, address, full card number, says they are going to turn it off and send you a new one.
- Caller: "Truist"
- Call type: Scam suspicion
