it is the verizon billing/financing department (very enethical tactics) they talked me into suspending my account instead of closing it like i was trying to do. They explained that i could pay it off then suspend it because i had available upgrades that i could hold onto in case i decide to ever use their services again... so that is what i did, i just got permanately laid off my job of 6 years today and also recieved a bill for just under $100 from Verizon today. the lady said there is nothing she can do but set up a payment plan and apologized on behalf of her co-worker for failing to mention that the account re-activates after 90 days. I am a very diligent and responsible, organized person. I hope this saves someone from being cheated like i was because it will always happen at the worst time
