This number keeps calling. When I answer, it disconnects. I have tried calling back, a recording telling me the number is not in service. Who is calling me?

This number has been calling all week and I try calling back and the same thing happens, number NIS. So annoying

I get the same thing! The number has appeared three times over the last week.  Googled it but to no avail.

anyone know what this number is? They asked about by sister by a name she only gives out to family and close friends...they called her at work

Caller said they are soliciting for Crime Stoppers, would not give the name of the company he worked for nor would he say what percentage the charity gets from donations.

Any time you see a phone number as both the number and name it is usually some sort of a scam.  Even if they say it is a Charity......it probably isn't.  So fed up with this crap, getting calls at least twice a day from all sorts of scammers who say they are Microsoft, the Police Association, ADT Security, The Canadian Imperial Bank, a free trip all bogus!

Best thing to do is if you don't know the number don't answer and block the caller.

I get calls from that Number as well. When I pick up the phone I can hear a conversation between two people, and they can't hear me. When I call back the phone never rings there.
Perhaps a problem with phone lines??

When call goes to voicemail...voicemail picks up 2 people being coached on how to solicit money for police rodeo... use phrases such as 10 Million dollars in theft recovered.... not government funded ..etc. need money for prosecution  etc.

Call from 800-546-2754 soliciting Advertising or donations for a local event to raise money for Diabetes; told her that we had no budget left for this year and she wanted to know if we could donate $27 per ticket for several underprivileged kids to attend

I answered my mother's phone and a man asked to speak with my mother.  I told him she was unavailable at this time and could I take a message.  He replied no and that he would call back.  I responded advising him that my mother was 93 and he would not be talking to her without talking to me first so would he please tell me what the call was concerning.   The man hung up.   Tried calling the number back and after a few second heard the 'not in service' beeping.

Somehow these people have figured out a way to bypass my automatic voicemail. It just ring and rings and rings. My voicemail is supposed to pick up after 5 rings but I have noticed many telemarketers can now bypass it. Super annoying especially since it's a service I pay for!

Agency looking for donations.  Can’t recall autism or something to send kids to camp.  I always tell them I’m interested but won’t donate over a phone.  They insist to transfer me to their rep for more info.  I complain to Bell steady.  I pay for a phone service that allows 3 scam calls a day.  I actual had one number called 8 times.  Can’t wait to dump this service, soon as my wife retires.

This number has been calling me for weeks! Up to ten times a day. No one ever speaks! SO ANNOYING! Their number comes from a website Shandong Telecom, I contacted them VIA their website and told them to take me off their F#*king Phone List!
