Kept asking about my pc errors

Keep answering, HP about PC Problems, calls everyday, different times, told not to call again 1 week ago, keeps calling.  last call 11/26/2016 9am

Claimed to be "HP Tech Support" when they called. Second call in three days. Told him I didn't need a tech, and that I *am* a tech. He hung up. I suspect he is stupid enough to call back.

Person with my name at HP Tech Support and says my computer is sending them error messages and corrupting their server, are you at your computer.  I said I have antivirus systems so I doubt it  the validity of the claim they hung up.  I'm guessing they want my IP address?  Sorry they lost

same thing I'm from HP and for a fee will fix my compute remotely total scam don't fall for it hp and micro soft don't make house calls

I answered because it's an 800 # and I did just have my HP laptop repaired. Yes they are totally scam I hung up on them when they started their pitch to me I will inform HP of this

Figured as much.... didn't even bother answering, didn't recognize the number.  They are definitely persistent they call me from this number 2-3 times a day.

Answered once and he wanted me to pull up my laptop. I told him that I had just woken up and wasn't near it so I couldn't pull it up. He started calling me lazy and being rude so I hung up. They keep calling and I refuse to answer. Claims to be some sort of Microsoft support and wouldn't take no for an answer. Just don't answer if you get a call from this number.

Received a call from 1-800-546-5623 (on my call display) informing me that they are calling from HP support and that my computer downloaded a virus a couple of days ago. When asked if I could call back, because I wanted to investigate due to not believing them, I was given another number to call 1-800-478-9569. Glad I found this website. Beware of scams. She even knew my email address. Can't believe how corrupt this world is becoming.

I just got a call too. Told her I wasn't near my computer and she insisted on calling me back in 10 minutes. I said. I thank you. She knew my email address too. How do they get that information.

Received a call today. Same as above. Stated he was from Windows. I told him Windows would not call. Told him he was a scam and hung up.

I received a call from 800-546-5623. I have had so many scam calls, I didn't answer call. Didn't leave a message.

total scam - representing themselves as HP tech support which they are not! Block the number and personally, I never answer my cell because all my contacts are identifiable so if I get a "800" or "866" call, I know it's not for me!!!!!

Received a call from a man with a thick accent claiming to be from HP Technical support. As soon as I heard that I said good bye and hung up. They try to scam me at least once a year. I had an HP computer once but their tech support was garbage,  I discontinued my  service contract with them years ago and learned how to fix my own issues.  HP knows not to ever call me again that is how I know this is a scam.

I know this is a scam. It has been bothering me ever since I got the call a few days ago. Can someone please explain to me how they knew my home number and my email. They claimed to know my computer information too but, I only verified my email which was correct. I'm really hoping that they don't know my computer information.

I got a call from 800-546-5623 also. He knew my name, my warranty info, and claimed to be from HP and wanted to fix errors, that I had downloaded damaging files from the internet. I asked where the files were coming from. He said "the internet" and I asked who is sending them. He said "we want to see" . He was trying to gain access to my computer. I told him I would call HP tech support when I got back to my computer. I checked my computer and my virus and malware protection showed no problems. I'm going to report this to HP, NOT to the number where the call came in from.

This is a scam!  I asked for the name of who was calling and he said John Smith, definitely fake name and not from HP!

I called HP and they said they would never call a customer unless you requested a call. If anyone calls you saying they are from HP, Microsoft, or Windows, and they want to fix a problem, IT IS A SCAM. Criminals are trying to gain access to your computer. HP and Microsoft do not make calls like that. Likewise if you read, or someone says they are an HP or Microsoft affiliate - HP and Microsoft do not have affiliates. The real companies WILL NOT CALL YOU unless you request a call.

Received a call from someone named Nick Jones claiming he was from HP.  He said he received a notice from my computer stating there was a problem.  I asked for a return number .  When I tried to call it I was told it was not reachable from my area.
