Did you ever find out who owns the number 800-553-2641? I am getting calls from that number.

I now know who this number belongs to. It is world omni. They finance toyotas using a subsidiary called southeast toyota finance. World omni does much more than just finance toyotas. You can go to their web site if you wish to find out about what all they do.

There have been daily calls for the owner of our company from 800-553-2641. The representative claims to be from Bank of America and leaves a message for him to call 866-912-6491 (which appears to be a collections scam using the B of A name according to other posts)

I got a message from these guys to, something about Toyota.  These guys are worse then scum.  Go get a real job.

someone called me from 800-553-2641. She said 'Hello Janine. This message is concerning your relative Madeline' I told her I have no relative by that name and she apologized and I hung up. But it did not dawn on me to ask her how she found out about my name - that is really bugging me out. She did not specify a company either.

This is TOYOTA calling....If you are one hour late making your payment they start calling day in and day out.

I receive calls from these people three times a day, I have a Scion and my payments due on the first but because I get paid now, ( hello economy) 1 time a month and its the end of the month that's when I make it - I tell them everytime they call, when I will make it and they tell me they will continue to call anyway till its made - this has to be against some law, they shouldn't be able to do this, they bother my entire family even after I've told them everyday that it will b made and is made its not like its behind ya know

they were looking for Angelo Resario  and I could not understand who was calling.

Yeah...they are real [***].  Just do what I do...turn your ringer off.  Ahhh...peace and quiet.

yes this call is from Toyota World omni Financial. Now we have some tools to stop thats stupid calls every day. Try search in google or bing "Fair collection Act" and use all the information they give to you. there is the letter i found and stop all the calls inmediate.

According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act,   [15 USC 1692c] Section 805(c): CEASING COMMUNICATION: You must cease all communication with me after being notified in writing that I no longer wish to communicate with you. Therefore, I demand that you stop calling me at home, at work, on my cell phone or at any other location!
In accordance with the federal FDCPA, now that you have received this "stop calling" letter, you may only contact me to inform me that you:
•    are terminating further collection efforts;
•    invoking specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by you or your company; or
•    intend to invoke a specified remedy.
Be advised that I am well well aware of my rights! For instance, I know that any future contact by you or your company violates the FDCPA and that since you already have my location information, calls made by you or your company to any 3rd party concerning me violates section 805(b)2 of the FDCPA.
Be advised that I am keeping accurate records of all correspondence from you and your company, including tape recording all phone calls. If you continue calling me I will pursue all available legal actions to stop you from harassing me and my family.

Got a call from this number this evening asking if I knew if a certain person was my neighbor. He knew my name and gave me the person's address. I told them I didn't know that person and they said Thanks and hung up. He never identified himself. Sounded like an older man and he was actually polite but it still creeped me out. Even if I had known the person I wouldn't have given them any information. That's just CREEPY.

I have had them calling me and finally answered because they don't leave a message and they wanted to speak to Ian Jackson, whom I do not know.  I told them this yesterday and they called again today!  WTF?

I got behind on my toyota payments for a few months about a year ago, Now they start calling 5 to 6 times a day about a week and a half before my payment is due every month wanting me to make a phone payment! They've even called my neighbors and friends to inform them that I'm behind under the guise of "trying to locate me" even after talking to me ten minutes before! I've been at home and had them call 9 times during 1 day and talked to them every time telling them the same thing and asking WHY they keep calling me repeatedly. Of course they say they don't and wouldn't do that. It stopped temporarily when I faxed them a copy of my caller ID log. Then they claimed that all these different companies were not them. But they are when you answer!

They called me about Ian Jackson too and I told them to remove me.  Now, I just received another call, but didn't answer.

It is Toyota. They outsource to india for collections. These people will bug you to death. They will try and get you to go ahead and make a payment with credit card.  But I wouldnt recommend paying someone in india and a phoney name with  your credit card. If you ignore them the actual company in america will call you eventually. The guy that kept calling me admitted being in India and when I asked him his name he said"Gary Johnson"  I dont believe there are too many Gary Johnsons in India.  I didnt buy a car in india and so I wont deal with people in india.
