- RhondaNumber showed up Card Member Svcs. I didn't answer and let it go to voice mail. Then I got concerned and called the number back. They don't identify who they are, just enter your card number etc. I said I didn't have it and waited to talk to someone. The man who answered was really rude. I asked him why they called me and gave my phone number. He said he didn't know, that they handle cards for serveral institutions. Was very vague about who. He said their number would be on the back of my card. I said I have several cards, could you narrow it down? No I needed to call each of my cards. LOL! I said sounds like a SCAM to me and hung up! I checked the back of all of my cards and the number is not listed on any of them. I know I don't owe anyone money, so I'm not going to worry. I'm definitely blocking this number.

- jimedBThese credit card scammers are now using the number of a real bank, Cadence Bank, in an attempt to hide this scam! ID shows CARDMEMBESVC so I did not answer but robo message about lowering my interest rate to 6.9% was left.
- Caller: CARDMEMBERSVC ? SCAM!

- DI have asked these people to quit calling multiple times & they just from different numbers. If you do ask them to stop calling they get very rude with you & even call you vulgar names. They get very agitated if you don't choose to lower your credit card debt or load a page on your computer. Then they call you something vulgar then hang up. Then the whole process starts up all over again the next day.

- Member 901298Elan Financial,800-558-3424, 888-520-8796, Just received snail mail from P. O. Box 6350, Fargo, ND 58125-6350 9 pages of technobabble about them sending me a new Visa Platinum Card. No mention of account number or company issuing it.
One number on google references US Bank. the other references Elan Financial. Seem like a scam to me so far.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- AnonElan Financial because of new card I took out with Bank of Texas promotion. They had no record or reason that this call was made as account is in good order.
- Member 901298 replies to sf jbI intend to cancel my cards also. I did see on another number that these legitimate numbers get spoofed after normal hours by scam callers. Good luck.
- Not-A-Site-To-Stop-Calls-1 replies to TomB| 1 replyElan Financial Services is handling a lot of different credit card accounts now. My bank just transferred mine with no warning. Canceling asap, I got a letter from them with no info on what account the=y were talking about and no credit card info.
- BigA replies to Not-A-Site-To-Stop-Calls-1I had a card that was transferred to them for servicing as well. They offer some lame "rewards" program where you get points for every dollar you spend and then get to order merchandise from them. You usually have to have thousands and thousands of points for stuff you could buy in the store for $30 or less. Not much of a reward. I had no problem with them other then that, but then I always paid on time.
- Not-A-Site-To-Stop-Calls-1 replies to GilQuestion. Thumbs down = bad or thumbs up? this site looks like busy enough to answer the question. I've been clicking on thumb's up if I agreed with the entry.
- roseSame as others would not quit calling so blocked them. Remember Scammers can "tag" legit numbers to try and cover themselves. Don't be tricked. I had a new card from ELAN financial (not activated to date) so maby thats why they were trying to scam me.

- ScamNo message so I called back- asked for CC# so I hung up!!
- GuestCaller ID says experian. Yep. No message. Many odd calls the last two days proceeding this that indicate scam attempts when all was quiet. Including “Washington DC” This number if you look up as an internet search is related to many “banks” seems to me like a scam. Disgusting to think this is going on.
