I received a phone call from this same number just last night saying that I needed to call back to make a statment regarding charges being filed.  I havn't called them back yet after reading all of these stories I fell for there scam as well. Two months ago I recieved a phone call from a lady at ext. 202 I set up payments with her for an old payday loan on a prepaid debit card (thank God) and the first payment was taken out 3 days late then the second payment was never taken out so I figured if there was a problem they would call me back.  Now two months later they call saying I have a civil case pending and I need to make a statement.  Whatever.  I am so not calling back.

Fax them a Cease and Desist letter, look it up online. Do NOT call them, and do not talk to them. They cannot do anything to you. Their fax is  18883499620 I faxed them a letter today. She gave me their fax number when I spoke with her, but I could not get an address out of her, she said she was not allowed to give their address! They are scam artists!

I rec'd 3 messages on my work phone to call this number regarding a pending civil court case that involved my social security number. When I called back, there was no answer. Then about 1 hour later they called me and caught me offguard. I answered the phone "Amber Lawson" as she called herself, just started asking questions about my address, etc... I did NOT verify my address. She wanted to know who my lawyer was, etc.. She was VERY rude and refused to tell me tha name of the company and then said that she was going to file this as refusal to pay & would file with the superior court. When I asked for her supervisor, she said she didn't have one. When I asked again for the name of the company  she said "Google IT!" and hung up on me.

I have no need for people I do not know so this was a waste of their time since I also have all 800 numbers blocked from ringing oon my phone which I never answer anyway. Such idiots! I do not respond to idiots.

They called my work 2 days ago after we were closed and left a long draw out voicemail about an investigation involving me for everyone to hear!! Luckly I had already told my boss all about how these people were scaming me, they didn't even try to call my phone they just went right ahead and called my work! I had stopped payment on them after 2 payment of $255 partly because of what I read on this page and partly because I have received nothing in the mail about my "debt" no proof of the payment I already made nothing. I called them this morning to tell them not to call me anymore and that they will not recive another dime from my until I recieve some proof in the mail. The woman I spoke with would not let me get a word in she said she could send me an e-mail I said no I want something in the mail, she proceded to tell me that they were contacting me to close my case because I have made all my payments, I have not I made 2 before I relized what was going on I was originaly told I would need to make 4. I told her I still want somthing in the mail so I could see where my money went, she told me to call back tommarow at the same time and she would get me the proof I needed. I think she relized that I was on to them and told me I was done paying just to get me to leave them alone! They have not seen the last of me I want my money back!

I have received several calls from 1-800-559-0708, all of which have been at my office.  The vm says that there is some type of civil litigation pending that has my SS# involved.  I know this is a scam and have not returned the calls.  No other information has been left on the vm except to call extension 1200.  No company name, no caller name....this happens way to often and too many people fall for this and give out information that will end up costing them money.  NEVER give your banking information or any other personal information over the phone, especially to an 800 number!

Received a call from Cindy Johnson, If that her real name.  Alledging that I owe a payday loan.  Telling me the balance is $550 and would I be willing to settle this today.  I asked her where she was calling from and what co. was she with? She ignored the questions.  Asking if she could put it on a credit card-I told her not my credit card, because she did not have a legitimate beef with me.  She said that she likes me and that she was willing to settle for $275.  I told her lady you have  got to be kidding.  I told her if this is for real she can send it to me in writing.  I gave her no information.  So we will see what happens.

Got a message to call a Stephanie Lewis at 800-559-0708, Ext. 1118, regarding a civil suit for a debt in Texas.  I called at 9 pm tonight to see what company answered, since she did not give that info or even who whe was calling, just a case #.  I was suprised when she answered.  When I gave her the case number, she turned me over to her "supervisor".  The name she was looking for was my daughter, who does live in Texas.I don't.
I finally got her to tell me who was claiming my daughter owed them money.  The whole thing sounded very legit, but I did not give her any info info about my daughter's location.  I then called my daughter, who went straight to this website--Thank goodness.  The "debt holder" was a previous bank she used, but had never owed them money.  Guess we just can't trust anyone anymore and that is a real shame!  The number that came up on my Uverse record was not the 800 number, but 678-928-9514, a number in Gainsville, GA.

Received a call from this number (800-559-0708) from the "claims investigation division", and the man who did not give his name, said that it could end up in state master court and he needed my statement. No idea what this is about. Have not received a letter in the mail regarding this.

    distressed!
Mine call was actually a little different my husband received a call on his cell phone from 7707337182 a martinez and was some kind of law enforcement needing a payment on a nofaxpayday loan. They had lots of info on me and I told him I would contact him back.   I called the police department and told them what was going on and they said it sounded like a scam so when I called him back he was very rude and began yelling at me saying he would have the papers drawn up a day earlier and he didn't even have to help me out. So I asked for a number to reach this payday loan company he quoted me my name, ssn, address and number. Scared me I thought wow someone had stolen my identity and done this. So he then gives me the 18005590708 ext 1104 and he had the nerve to say ma'am I could give you any number if you don't want to pay the you will be served. I then looked it up here and saw all of these complaints...is there nothing we can do this has to be a felony of some type bc people are actually giving payments to them.

I have received a call today from 800-559-0708 from these scums today and fell for their sh-T.. Which i cannot believe i gave them my info. Does anyone really have a clue to who they are? I have reported them to the police, SS, and well as the FTC. I hope they catch these losers since they cant get a real job instead of trying to steal other peoples money.. When and if they get caught i hope they have a fun time in prison.

Awhile back I received and ignored a voicemail from this number from a woman who claimed she was Miss Smith calling about account deposit fraud and case no. 7967.  She asked me to call her back at x1110.  This past weekend, I received a voicemail from a woman with the identical voice who said she was Miss Brand from Arms Legal calling about a possible fraud case (no. 11145) and asking me to return the call to 877-626-6581 x320.  Both calls referenced the same person although they mispronounced his name, and I do not know how to contact him even if they had reached me anyway.

    Ripped Off
Back in September my mother received a call from this Claims Investigation trying get a hold of me.  She gave me the "800" number and I called and spoke to a Ms. Welch.  She stated that I had a deliquent PayDay loan and if it wasn't paid I was going to be taken to court.  I made payment arrangements.  The second payment that was taken out was doubled.  It was taken out twice.  I called Ms. Welch and she had one payment put back into my account.  I made one more payment in November and I had paid it off.  Now it is the end of January and I checked my balance in my checking account and I had a $210.00 debit card withdrawl from Jas LLC.  This company took out money from my account without my authorizing it.  This is a scam!!!!
