received a call on my land line congratulating me for winning two and a half million or 25000 dollars from publishers clearing house and telling me to call back one of two 800 numbers to claim.

Received a call at 6:45 am.  Did not answer but the message left was about winning a prize and they left 2 different phone numbers to call.

Robocall claimed that I'd won $2.5 million and gave me a confirmation number to use when I called back. Obvious fraud. Identified themselves as "A Publishers Clearinghouse", not "The Publishers Clearinghouse". Also, if the confirmation # is specific to me, why the recorded message? Wouldn't you need to record a separate message for each and every winner? If so, why not just call them live? Also, nothing against having a rich cultural heritage, but the caller was obviously not a native English speaker, and it doesn't seem like such an important call would be entrusted to someone who had some apparent difficulty forming the words correctly.
