    Direct TV scam. They say that they have changed the frequency of the satellite, ask for your pin to fakely attempt to verify you as a customer, inform you that your receivers are only 20% compatible and they will then connect you to "technical support" to upgrade your receivers after about 5-8 minutes.

    I had them "update" me in their database with a fake name so if I get a call from someone in the future for that name I'll know that it's a scam. Not that I didn't know that this was a scam to begin with, it's fairly obvious.
