- montana_jimFord Motor Gestapo...if you choose to answer, be prepared to recite the Magna Charta...then the "rubber hose" treatment begins...every employee's middle name must be "relentless" to pass the job interview....I just put this number on my "reject" list

- C-DI only know it's Ford from the comments here because they never leave a voicemail. IF they truly are Ford, wouldn't they leave a message? I had a Ford account years ago, and I don't understand what they could possibly want if I no longer do business with them or even own a Ford.
- Caller: Ford or forger

- Hairry| 5 repliesFord Motor Credit. They start calling 1st day after the end of grace period. Keep calling until after they get the payment posted. Problem is if you pay on line it can take up to 5 days to post. Always takes at least 2 business days. Will never finance one of their cars again. The car is fine. The EZ payment plan will sell a Chevrolet, Chrysler,Toyota, Honda, or Nissan next time.

- Mike-in-MD replies to Hairry| 4 repliesYour problem is that you do not understand what the "grace period" means. The actual due date is 15 days before the end of the grace period. During that 15 days payments received are considered on time and no late fees are charged. If you look at your statement, it even tells how much you would owe for payments received after the grace period. Pay on or close to the due date and the 5 or so days it takes for the payment to be posted will not be after the end of the grace period and you will not receive calls nor be assessed late fees. This was all clearly explained in the initial mail Ford Motor Credit sent you when you financed your car through them. It doesn't make any difference who you finance with, if there is a grace period, it works the same way. Payments are late if not made on the due date but no fees are assessed or dunning calls made until after the end of the grace period. This is Consumer Finance 101 stuff and something you should already know.
- Totally Fed Up With Ford| 1 replyFord Credit - actually one of many numbers they call from. Don't own a Ford. Now, never will. Never had a loan with them. Now, never will. For over a year, they have been annoyance calling, claiming they are trying to reach a female debtor [I am a single male]. 888-224-0159, 313-216-2022, 800-714-3373, 800-566-1298 are a few numbers they call from. They begin by demanding information about the lady and then about me, if I answer. They leave a message if I don't. One way or another, the ringing phone is an annoyance. The number of times daily that they call varies from 1 to 5 - 8am to 9pm. They go on with this for a couple weeks, stop and then start again. They do not verify information on their credit applications before they sell a car. You can't ask them to stop when they are on the line or call them back and ask them to stop. The result is the same - more calls. Obviously, this is a preventable invasion of privacy. Report them to the DOJ!

- WDSThere are two numbers in circulation right now .... 800-566-1298 and 866-860-1913 ... These are spoofed numbers - yes, they belong to Ford, but it's not credit...I called 800-392-3673. And reported the numbers to be given to the "higher-up" folks to investigate ...
