Called three times within 10 minutes after 10 PM.  Played bad music, then gave a recorded message saying it was attempting to verify my roadside service.

Thanks for the info. I needed to know that it was State Farm. I always check out of state or toll-free numbers before answering. It's a scammy world out there!

This # is for State Farm Insurance Roadside Assistance. A legit call for a change. Imagine that!!
Calling to make sure tow truck arrived, what time & how service was.

Just as surprised as the last poster that it was legit. Also 3x within 10 minutes. Wish it displayed something other than "800 Service" to let me know.

LOL - first world problems

I answered, said "Hello" and I got an automated voice that said, "Good-bye" and hung up. It was actually kind of funny.

I was expecting an automated call from my Murcury Insurance road side service because I had called earlier for a tow truck. A minute later I got another call from an entirely different # in a different state & it was the automated call from my insurance company I was expecting.

If this was from State Farm,then why didn't they leave a message on my voice mail.I've been getting weird calls,so unless I know the number,I don't answer.

It's a legit call.... I just had emergency roadside service from State Farm Insurance.  That is a follow-up call.  This is one is ok, unless you have not had their service.

Automated call from Road America roadside assistance following up on a service call that I had placed with them. The system asks if your service was completed or you still need to talk to somebody. Roadside assistance is provided by my Citibank Prestige credit card.

It is a State Farm apparently but I don't have State Farm Insurance and I don't have roadside assistance with State Farm so I don't know why they would call me and say I called in for roadside assistance
