Recorded garbled message from a woman stating it was an emergency call to alert me my Windows Microsoft license had expired. The audio was so distorted. Most likely a scam.

Got a suspicious sounding message (I didn't answer) from a robo-call  - very garbled, as stated above. I'm ignoring it. The software updates keep happening and if the license expired, the updates would not still be happening. Seems VERY suspicious.

Definite scam stating I needed to renew my windows key.  Microsoft would not call anyone and ask for money.  When in doubt, look up Microsoft's Customer Service number and call that number and ask.

Received voicemail "This is an emergency call to notify you that the license key of your Microsoft Windows is expired. To renew license key, please call toll free 1-800-596-1758." How could anything regarding Microsoft Windows be an emergency? I have no connection with Microsoft Windows software. Also reported to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/reportascam/?locale=en-US.

I was busy at the time, so I caught only part of the message.  But it was basically the same as above, where the computer-sounding female voice told me my Microsoft software license was expiring and I needed to call some number to renew it.
