- StopHarrasingMe!!!| 1 replyThis company calls our office at least three times a day. When I answer the phone to try to help them - the guy (named:Mike) stated that he sent an email to our company and wanted to do some follow-up. I asked who he sent it to and it was actually ME that he sent it to. I told him that I could help him and he stated that he needed to talk to the estimator or the project manager - explained that I was the office manager and could help him - he said you are not the right person for me to speak to and hung up on me. I am SO TIRED of these ridiculous tatics that are being used - and these people think I would give them business? HAHAHAHA!

- Ginnie replies to StopHarrasingMe!!!I didn't get a CALL from that number, but I've been receiving one text a day from the number 214-935-8686 claiming that I'm "a winner!" and to log into the address http://gift-winner.org/?7423 (the last four digits of your caller)--I googled the telephone number (different from the one you received) and all I could determine was that it was a landline number in Dallas, TX. It so far has not been reported as a scam, but I hesitate a GREAT DEAL to log onto this website, since I've been getting phished lately and someone, somewhere out there, obviously has my number. The last time I just clicked on a link just to see what it was (sounded like a scam, so I "x"'ed out of it, but it was right after that that I began getting phished. Finally, one of the scams froze my ID on my computer, claiming to be from the FBI (with an original FBI seal at the top of the page, but they spelled the organization name "Fedral Burea Investagation") and telling me that I was being "frozen out" because I had been perusing child/animal pornography, and the only way to "unfreeze" it was to go to one of several outlet stores, buy a MoneyPak for $100,000 (no extra zeroes there: ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS) and they would "help" me load the money off the card and into their account to release my computer. I just created another ID, went around Robin Hood's Barn to retrieve all my data, and got an IT friend of mine to check the computer, and it had EIGHT severe-rated viruses on it. She wiped the hard drive and reinstalled everything and I changed all passwords and security features, and the screen went away; I was "unfrozen," but I am still getting these weird texts. I am positive it's a scam so I am not about to log onto that website, but wanted to warn EVERYONE: if you get a text from http://gift-winner.org/?7423 telling you you've "won" something -- DO NOT OPEN IT!! You could end up with computer-destroying viruses, and all these things are scams; they don't expect you to pay anything, they simply want you to log in so they can piggy-back these viruses onto your address. I got lucky because I had a friend who knew how to get rid of these people; if you don't know an IT person, it could cost you hundreds of dollars to get your computer unfrozen and the viruses cleaned off. Just a warning--PLEASE DON'T DO IT! You haven't "won" anything; you're just being targeted: somebody got your number. Change your passwords immediately and delete these texts from your phone. Thanks!
- super annoyed!!!!| 1 replyWe have a small roofing company. I just happen to be a female owner. The jerk named Derrick called asked for my business partner. When I told him I was the owner. He said he sent plans and could I read plans. I said yes, he laughed at me. He said that he sent and email and that he talked to my business partner. I told him he was a liar because my partner does not even have email and does not make business decisions. I told him to take us off his list.
To all female owners............ do not use this business. Construction Pipeline uses rude, sexist, stupid salesmen. This was not my first run-in with this company. They usually hang up when they don't get to talk to a man.- Caller: Construction Pipeline
