Me too.  But they charged my account $89.26.  Beneficial Provo, UT was attached to the transaction, along with this number.  Never received a call from them though.  WTF.

So did you get your money back? my card was charged for 69.97 after two other membership fees that were already charged on my card which was from networkagenda.com for $9.95 and the other one (forgot the name of the company) for $29.95. When I sign up for google fortune they never told me that I would be charged for other memberships.

This company is a total scam outfit and I am issuing a better business bureau complaint plus canceling my credit card so they cannot charge me again.  I looked at their program for $1.97 and called to cancel any further service purchase -- they gave a confirm # over the phone (which I misplace and they denied) and still they charged me $89.26.  I asked for a refund and, after badgering me with sales lingo, finally said they will refund half --  which I don't trust.  DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM!!

I also got a charge on my credit card for 89.26 from this beneficial 8006002641 UT tried to call this number to fine out who they were, but got an answering device.

has anyone had any luck with getting a refund? also what is the number to call, i am getting a hold message with the number on my bank statement.

ya same here 69.97 this is a load of crap. Any new ideas that work.

I'm having the same problems. After they charged me $69.97, I called them. They said they'd issue a full refund. Not only didn't they do that, but they charged me again, $69.97. I called again, with my cancellation # and refund #. I told them I hadn't received the first refund and now they owed me another one. They said they could only refund one charge b/c I didn't cancel in time, which was total b.s., of course. I spoke to two supervisors (supposedly). Their names are Princess and Alex, but that's probably bogus, too. They both hung-up on me. I've now submitted a complaint to the BBB.

I got charged $100.38! This is ridiculous! Is there nothing the banks can do about this? I dont remember any call, just signing up online, seeing the dollar charge on my credit card for this google work from home thing and now on my credit statement a good month later im sure, there is this charge from 'beneficial'! I never gave out my credit details for such a thing!

i too got scammed from them   they charged my debit card 89.26. they have owed me a refund since nov and i still have not got it back. i am going to call today again 2/11/10.  i had to cancel my debit card so they would stop charging.  i 3 other companies debit my card after they did. they all refunded the money. but not beneficial.
