i just spoke to eddy jhonson he helped me in giving me 20% discount on conned bill- Caller: starion energy
- Sigmund replies to ramonConned bill = Freudian slip.
- ValerieIs this a legitimate company? They were offering a discounted rate on my electric bill with Eversource. Did not go for it because I have heard about so many scams. They said it was an Energy Choice Program
- Eguy| 1 replyLady called on Saturday morning, told me she was calling from Eversource and that they are offering a discount on my bill. I almost fell for it, but woke up long enough when she asked me for my most recent bill. "Note to self - wouldn't she have a copy of my bill and all of my records if she was calling from Eversource?" I told her I'll call her back and asked for her number. I ran the number tonight. Sure enough, it is NOT from Eversource, but a third party utilities company named Starion that I have never heard of. This may be a legit company, but the way they went about this promotion is fishy.

- fedupI just got the call this morning from a lady (Kim?) from EverSource, who then said she is from Starion. She knew what town I live in and wasked me to confirm the rest of the info, but I told her I would call later. She gave me this number 1800 600 3040. She was talking about a rate reduction and how it is more expensive to apply for it online. The number that called me was 413 318 0191. It says Springfield, MA, but I have also received several from Framingham, MA at least once a week I get these calls. The Do Not call registry list for Mass does not work for these people.

- Virginia BerlandoI received a call from Starion Energy claiming to be Duquesne Light Co. stating that they were working for them. I kept asking is this a third party company but they refused to answer. I was bullied into switching suppliers. They asked for all kind of personal information when they said they had it. A real scam.

- FranI got a call from a woman saying she was Brittany from National Grid. Wanted to offer me a discount of 20% on my bill. Wanted to know if I had a bill handy...but...wait...if she was really from National Grid, and knew I was their customer she would have my info. TOTAL SCAM. I asked for her number and I could hewr her defalte in the phone. Asked for her name, and she said Brittany. (Just Brittany. Had to push to get the last name, Johnson. I felt like Meg Ryan in that movie where she complains about first name only no last name bit.) Then she hung up on me. Really. So I called the number and, wow, guess what...not National Grid. Never trust a compant that will lie to you to get business. If it is not a scam, it is a dishonest business model.
- Caller: Brittany Johnson
- Fran replies to EguySame happened to me....caller wanted me to give her info off my bill...she was NOT from National Grid as she indicated. Scammers and lliars.
- TracyI just had the same thing happen to me - they confirmed my zip code and said they were from National Grid and wanted me to give them information from my last bill. I said I was at work, which number could I call back on (with no intention of doing so). They gave 1800 600 3040. Scam.

- KathyTotally caught me off guard on vacation.. didn't have information available but they started asking for customer information of my current energy provider and then they called them three-way... Once they started asking for Social Security details I was like no way. Total scam!
