800-600-5092

This 800-600-5092 caller keeps calling and I do not know him/her/them, so I do not pick up.  I am FED UP with the calls.  Of course, he/she/they do not leave a voice message.

Yes! I have received the same calls 2 days in a row now from the same number.  Last week I had a 866 number...and found out it was Comcast wanting me to take s suvey.  I have no idea who this is!

What I'm starting to wonder is what the sites like this (800 notes and many others) are doing with the info we give them. They can't be doing this as a charitable concern for our welfare. Who's paying their bills?

It's just a simple database. Bandwidth is the only cost and that is easily covered by the adds all over every page.

This number has been calling me for the past 2 weeks! Never leaves a mesage argh. I will past if I find out who it is. Any update from anyone else as to who this is?

This # has been calling for a long time now, about 1 or 2 times daily. Some people believe this to be Verizon, but when the number calls no one leaves a message. I have FIOS with phone, but I don't know if this happens to people with other services, most likely it does. Calling back does not do anything, it just makes a strange ringing that keeps going on and on.

woman called said her name was carol from verison wireless .
wanted me to change my phone plan . said i needed to verify info .
i told her i thought it was a scam and she was all " um i can let you talk to a supervisior " i said her telling me that someone is a supervisor doesn't make it so . and i thought she was full of it .
she told me there is nothing anyone can do with the last 4 of my SS#
i said yeah sure . i said i want to call you back give me your number ... she said well lets just set up a follow up call ... so i can verify .. i said no . i'll just call verison myself . and i hung up . there is no record of any one from verison calling  my home .  BEWARE !!!

Number keeps calling me. It rings and then it stops so fast that you dont get the chance to answer. No voicemail.  You call them back and theirs no answer or voicemail box. Happens once or twice a day.

After reading all the information you all have written, I am glad I have not answer the call.  I am tired of these phone calls and I wish they stop.  Never give your social security number to anyone that calls you on the phone.  I always said to them, "you called me so you must have my information on your screen, ask me the information on your screen and I will tell you if it is me."  They asnwered we have no information but your number. Then I asked them for a phone number for me to call them back and asked for the full name of the person talking to me.  The next thing is they hang up.  A hang up is a fraudulent call in my book. BEWARE!!!

All the calls from 800-600-5092 are a real nuisance.  Another one came in yesterday.  Finally called Verizon to find out what's up with 800-600-5092.  Verizon placed a Fraud Alert on our landline that's been getting these calls.  Verizon advised us not to give any account information to anyone calling from 1-800-600-5092.  Verizon made us aware that legitimate calls from Verizon will be identified as such in a Caller ID.  Verizon also suggested we dial *77 to activate Anonymous Call Rejection.

This number comes up on my caller ID at least once a day - I am not home when the call comes in and there is no message left on my answering machine. This is quite annoying. There should be a law that these people  have to leave a message stating the nature of their business, and then cannot call again if the recipient does not respond. If they are from Verizon, they are obviously trying to sell something! Send me the info in the mail, and don't bother me with phone calls! I don't pay for a phone to be harassed by my service provider - If I want a new service, I'll call them!!!
