I just (April 6, 2009) heard an ad on the radio for "increase your brain power by 1000%" etc. and decided to check related scams via google, so I googled the number they advertised: 1-800-600-5971.

I was just searching about that because i was like "what the hell?" when i heard that on the radio. I wanted to see what a website entailed if it had one. It was talking about increasing your brainpower/iq in 7 mins and i was thinking about how impossible that sounded. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

A friend heard the ad on the radio and asked me to call for more information. A machine answered and asked me to confirm my name, home address, zip code and phone number.  I wanted to speak with a Live Person not a machine.  I hung up after the first set of questions.
I was afraid if I said yes to the questions, I might be agreeing to give them the keys to my house and my bank account number. You have to be careful according to Clark Howard.
Guess my Brain Power will have to remain as is for today.
