The message was about the summer convention in Fort Worth, they were calling to remind us to get our reservations at the hotels early if we want to be with in walking distance of the convention center in downtown Fort Worth.  If you got a call then you probably have a phone number of someone who went to the convention at one time and signed in with that number.  They do not do cold calls because this convention is for people who are mature believers.  They fill the arena every year with people from all over the world so they are not begging people to come, we flock to this every year to grow stronger in the Lord.

Are you aware of call blocker technology?
Have you googled/searched for "Call Blocker?

Call blockers are available as phones, apps (some free) and standalone devices.

Here is 800notes' discussion on call blockers:
    https://800notes.com/forum/ta-5d4e343675a5629/call-blocking-devices

Here are two pages of links to (mostly government) sites in Canada and the USA were you can report phone scams, or learn more about them.

    Look here first:

If the reporting site you wanted is not in the above list, try this one:

I purchased materials from them a few months ago, and registered an account on their website, so that is where they got my number.  I might have answered the call had their caller ID identified who was calling (I do not answer calls from unfamiliar, unidentified numbers).  As far as I know, they do not call their partners to solicit donations over the phone.

If you give donations to Kenneth Copeland Ministries, they WILL call you occasionally.  They call to PRAY for you!  They call when there's a storm coming your way to agree with you to STOP the storm (as Jesus taught us to do).  They'll pray with you about ANYTHING you need (as Jesus taught us to do).

It's a good ministry. They aren't soliciting for money, they call to let people know about upcoming events such as conventions where they encourage people in their faith in God. They are good people. I didn't pick up the phone because I didn't recognize the number, but they always leave a message which I appreciate very much. I don't like it when people don't leave a message because I don't answer my phone if it's not family or a dear friend who I know.
