They call and then hang up most of the time.. so annoying..magic and miracles.. why would i ever donate to such a rude telemarketing company

Today I got a phone call from the number 1-800-619-4113 and a guy asked for my husband. After I said he was not home, and asked who he was, he said "it is not your concern". I don't mind telemarketer call because I understood they have to work, but please be nice. This guy is so rule. Sick !

Several phone calls with no one there. I expect they are using an auto dialer and call several but talk to the first person available. In general this behavior usually is a sign of a bad outfit or a  scam.It would be best to take up their time asking questions and dragging them on and on ... That way theycan't bug anyone else.

This is a scam form a woman with an American accent. She leaves a message from "GE Credit Services" about fraudlent activity on your Master Card. She answers by various names (in this case she answered as Sherri) and on the other number 1800-428-3500 she answered as Teresa). I knew this was fraudulent as I had already called Master Card. I played along when she called the next time. It sounds really authentic with the call center music playing and asking you to wait for the next fraud representative. In the meantime while you are waiting they ask you to confirm the last 4 digits of your Master Card and your date of burth, I put garbage in and the message said it did not match their records. They put me through anyway and I told her she was a scam artist and all the while she was polite and trying to convince me she was authentic. I told her I had phoned the police and reported her. She even tried to tell me that her telephone number was the same as on the back of my card, which it is not. Some people may not check. I cussed her out and eventually put down the phone. When I called the same number half an hour later I got through to a voice mail for "Magic for Miracles". I then proceeded to call the second number that had called my house the day before. It got through to "GE Credit Services". The same woman answered with the name Teresa instead of Sherri. I played the fool and told her I was calling from my bank's Master Card Security department and I asked her why she was calling our customers. There was silence on the other end. Then, stupidly, she told me that I was the same person (and she mentioned my name) that had cussed her earlier and put down the phone.

I have kept a list of the numbers I've used *60 on and they are still getting through.  When I try it again I'm told they are already on my "do not call" list, not that I'm over my limit, but I've already registered the number.  So the system isn't perfect.

Please remove my phone number from your list and stop calling me.

They call EVERY NIGHT, and there's nobody on the line. If you call back, you get a recording from Magic n Miracles, a sleazy charity.

The message says to call back during business hours, but they are calling my house every evening around 7 or 8 PM. I can't help but wonder how much of the money they collect actually does any good, and how much gets stuffed into their pockets...

I sit there like a dummy for the last 3 or 4 nights, saying "hello" to their machine, and no response yet. I can't wait to tear a strip off of a real employee there.

They called two nights ago, claiming they were from the "Calgary Firemen Association" and were looking for a donation.  My husband said wasn't interested and asked them not to call again.  After he hung up he told me what they said and said there is no such thing as Calgary Firemen Association.   Maybe Calgary Firefighters Association, but not Calgary Firemen Association.  How low can you go when you have to use these services as your scam?

They seem to always call when we are in the middle of dinner.  I answer on the third ring and there is nothing but a dial tone.  Wish they would just go away!  Would like to know which charity I donated to sold my name and number, tired of all these calls!

I  recieved a letter from Magic n Miracles they have a phone number 1-800-793-1204. I don't remember making a pledge to this company, but thought I'd research them. I'm glad I found this website.

they call me every morning at 9:30am I finally answered it and they hung up on me, STOP CALLING ME!

THIS NUMBER CALLS TIME AND TIME AGAIN, WE NEVER ANSWER, NO MESSAGE LEFT, THEN WE CALL BLOCK THE NUMBER, PHONE WILL STILL RING ONCE AND HANG UP ON THE CALLER WHO IS (800) 619-4113.

Can't something be done by Government to stop all the scammers ( and various other names these no goods are called)
