This is a scam. I received a semi-legitimate looking invoice from FedEx.  The note claimed a package couldn’t be delivered to me because my credit card on file had expired.  I’ve never had a FedEx account either personal or business. This was just a phishing attempt to get my credit card info. Do not call this number

I got an invoice saying they couldn’t collect from the sender and so I needed to pay it! They had my name and address and the date the pkg was sent! It looks very legit! Don’t fall for it!

I got a mail invoice from "FedEx" asking from about $160+ shipping fee. The sender and recipient are both strangers/fake people so I called them. Once I saw this scam post, I asked if there is a way he can verify himself as a FedEx employee, he said" I've said hi to you and I'm talking to you".

Don't get fall for it!

I also got a fake invoice that came to my home address.  It said a non-existent company named Symoneric owes $114.73 and that I should call this number.  Don't waste your time and by all means do not give out any personal information!!

I, stupidly, called this number when I got an invoice. Luckily I didn't give any personal info that wouldn't be available if you Googled me. Live and learn.

I also received a couple of notices by email that look legit and have a fedex email address associated (billingonline@fedex.com) but I think this is a scam as well. Although, they have my legit account number, but the number that is on the email (800-622-1147), same as your posted number above, is different from their account services number (800) 463-3339

Scammers often pretend to be them and even spoof the number to trick people into paying fake postage/fees, but this number is to the real FedEx.

I received two invoices from "FEDEX", invoice date : July 07,2021 for $ 199.58  and another one for $ 314.93. Both comes up to $ 513. The phone number on both invoices was: 800.622.1147. The Billing and shiiping address was in Los Angeles, California. I didnt know about these 2 shipments. I ignored them.
