- MikeHuntletonWarning! This is a Tech Support Scam number!
Scam advertisements on these blogs are used to try convincing victims they are legitimate and can provide faster service instead of you waiting for the actual company support's wait-times.
Its just a trick, because one scam company couldn't possibly be able to handle the volume of ALL the website's they claim to support !
Many of the claims are simply false, they have no access to perform the support they claim, such as reset your email or Facebook password, Renew and add licenses to software, etc.
Any name brand Anti-Virus program they "sell" you is from a corporate account they purchased and add your computer to it, until the 10 computers they are allowed are used up, then someone gets removed from the activated list for the next scammed victim to be added.
Its all designed to convince you to give them Remote Access to your computer and steal your money.

They create these "listings" and provide many of the official numbers to get their websites to display in a web search top results. It is also to convince victims its a legitimate directory. If you look at many of the listings, you will see "useful tools & number to call" a link "call via web" , its a link to Skype to download it.
Scammers compete and copy each other, so many look similar or could even be the same scam outfit. I found those websites by finding shared numbers, leading to more scam numbers.

DO NOT call these numbers or trust any calls from them!

Fact:- ANYONE who calls you and says your computer called/contacted them is a SCAMMER.
- Windows Operating System licenses do not expire.
- ANY Tech Support Warning pop-ups you get while accessing the internet asking you to call a number or visit a website, is from a SCAMMER.
- Web Browsers DO NOT have the ability to determine and warn you your computer has an error. They can only warn you about a potential malicious website. A Browser is software that allows you to surf the Internet, not diagnose a computer or phone.
- ANY Tech Support company that insists you need their services because of some error, outdated software or tries to convince you that you need to allow them remote access is a SCAMMER.
- Nobody could possibly know if your computer or devices have an issue unless you tell them or gave them access.
- Tech Support companies DO NOT call to give out refunds because they are "going out of business". In fact NO company gives refunds when going out of business unless they did not provide you with what you paid for.
- Companies DO NOT call to inform you that your subscription will be charged if you don't call back, only SCAMMERS do that. If you have a subscription with someone, they automatically charge you until you cancel it.
Please read about how Tech Support Scammers operate the scams and warn everyone possible about them.

TrendMicro FAQ on Tech Support Scams
Microsoft - Protect yourself from Tech Scams
Never trust a caller who wants to "help your computer" for any reason (unless you contacted them first), as they are only going to scam you. If you need Tech Support, you should contact a reputable local service.
