solicitation call.  reported he was calling for a "community project" which is what they all say now.  when asked which one he said American Legion.  when asked what chapter he said "statewide".  polite enough but no banana.

Caller left a message for me which included the name "Special Olympics", and the name of a woman.  When I called back I received a message for the extension she had left - with a man's voice on it.  I'm not leaving a message!  They called me at work.  Really annoying!

Got a voice mail from this number with elevator (hold) music playing.

Claimed to be from Dish Network, couldn't hear the person, because of lots and LOTS of background noise, sounded like they were calling from a loud football game. Ridiculous.

The number 800-633-2264 just called our office and said they are with the American Legion.  However my caller ID said  White Salmon WA 509-774-0331.  He was hard to understand sounded almost drunk.  Asked not to call again

A gentle with a bad fake southern accent keeps calling from this number, refusing to speak to anyone but my boss..

Hello, let me introduce myself.  I'm the woman whose job depends on unwanted solicitation calls not getting through.  

Last call ended in them being told to not call here anymore unless he identifies his company, he was he was with ....get this...

hey why does this Number call and when i answer they say nothing sit there

This guys calls all the time asking for the owner and of course I don't transfer the phone, knowing pretty well that it's a junk call.  Finally I just told him he was wasting his time he could talk to me and let me know what it was about and we'd contact him if we had any questions.

Said he was from the American Vets Association and if we would donate $25 towards their cause they would leave us alone for a year...hmmm sure.

When the call came through, the caller asked if I was my boss (both of us are female) I replied no, he cuts me off before I can say who I really am. Saying he really needs to speak with her before he charges her account. Said they charge her account every year and he needs a verbal stating that it's okay. (At this point I'm annoyed and shocked with how forward this man is) I ask who he was, told me his name was Steve, I had to ask again to get the 'company' name. Told me that it was the National Gaurd asking for there donation. I put him on hold for 10 seconds to ask my boss if she actually had an account, knowing full well she doesn't. I get back on the phone to throw him into voicemail, and he kept demanding that he needs to get a verbal response from her. I told him I am not able to provide that and he would have to go to voicemail. He starts talking over me again saying to just leave his name and number and have her call him back.

First time I have ever had a 'sales' caller leave a name and number. He sounds way too fishy for me.
