I made a car reservation with Expedia and was asked to buy a weekend package (agree to 90 min presentation) at a place (?) in Alexandria, VA. My credit card was charged 149.00 and this number is on the bill next to the words TRAVEL RESERVATIONS.

On January 17th I was sold two nights at a Wyndham in San Antonio for $79 good any time this year. The sales people were at a home show in the convention center in downtown Dallas. My bank account was charged $79.00. The line on the bank statement says "MC-TRAVEL RESERVATIONS 800-633-2336 FL". The information was filled out on blank forms filled out in a ball
point pen by the sales guy. Wyndham seems to have no clue who these people
    were.

Revision to message of 3/29.  When I call the number on my AMEX bill, I get a recording from Wyndham.  I was making a car reservation via phone with Avis using my company AMEX when I got the hardsell about a free vacation weekend in the area of my choice for if I listened to the 90 min sales pitch.  I said I was interested in the Alexandria, VA area.  My company AMEX card was charged $149.  How can I contact these people and get my company's money back?  I have received no further contact:  email, phone or postal.  AVIS and Wyndham belong to the same company, Cendant.

I received a phone call from Wyndham and was sold 3 nights in Charleston, SC for $149.00 . I received my bill from American Express and it had this charged to it along with a phone numer of 800-633-2336 and stated it was from Wyndham.  I have never received any documents regarding this purchase from Wyndham.  When I call the number it says that it cannot be reached from my area which is 843 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

So, you are paying them to sit through a high pressure sales pitch for one of their worthless, useless timeshares?
