I just received a call from this #, the voice message stated it is in reference to a possible security recall on a vehicle currently registered.  It then gave another number to call back.  1-800-705-5388, I did not call back.

Also received call/message from this number with a different callback number stating something about a recall on one of our vehicles.  Didn't call it back.

I received a call from this number with a different call back number stating that there is a safety recall on my vehicle.

They called left message saying there's a safety recall on my Camaro.  Not going to call them back, my dealership will let me know if there's a safety recall.

same thing.. call from this number stating recall. read another page that had the call back number (800-705-5388) that said they talked to them and its a scam. they want your vin information before they can give you any information about what type of recall there is. To get anything from them besides "we don't have that information", you have to call another number that charges you.

2 calls moments apart that were abandoned after one ring. No message.

One ring and they hung up. Based on other comments, likely spam or scam. Blocked it.

Addendum to my previous comment. They left a voice message to call 1-800-704-5388. I looked up that number and it is a phishing call. They will ask for your VIN and email so they can spam you, so block this number also

Call came in from 800-640-4611 went to voice mail. recording said they were a RECALL Center for my car and to call them back at 800-705-5388.
Call them back and asked for their website address, lady said they had one but I would have to get it from her supervisor. Supervisor came online I asked very nicely for the web address and she said we are a Recall Noifacation center did you receive a call, I said yes but I still want your web address, She hung up on me. (Can you say SCAM)

Same as everyone else, some one is phishing.  Call from the number mentioned that calls were made from, then asked to return call to the other number.  There are no present recall on my vehicle, and my vehicle make and model were not mentioned, neither the supposed company from which the call is being made.

Same as everyone else. Scam. Read him the riot act for wasting my time.

Called, only rang once and it went to VM.  Left a message about safety recall - scam!!! I have a Honda Odyssey and they know how to contact me directly.  Blocked this number.

Just got the same call...............they wouldn't identify the brand vehicle being recalled.  SCAM SCAM SCAM

This # showed up as a missed call.  I'm at work and my phone is in vibrate mode.  Googled the number and found this discussion on 800notes.com.  I have nothing more to add here other than I've learned that if the # has made its way onto 800notes.com, it most likely is a scammer.

I know that time is valuable but I am beginning to believe that if we all wasted their time without giving them useful information that eventually their staff will quit.  I am never polite after I confirm that it is a scam and I can't believe that any person wants to be told to f off all day long before they decide to quit

Received a voicemail from a recording saying saying there may be a potential recall on my registered vehicle. I am sure that IF there is, Toyota will personally let me know by mail and not hide behind an unidentifiable phone number.
