I get calls from these folks multiple times per day.  They sell people's timeshares.  Well, they say that is what they do.  I gave money to one of these sorts of organizations and they just took the money and ran.  Be very careful.

Oh my freaking gosh!  I spent the last two hours writing about this and wanted to also leave my g-mail addy which I thought it wise to check as I've not used it in ages, after signing in I tried to verify and this page went away I was stunned because I do not re-use windows, everything in its own and there's a new page I hit back and all the words are gonnnneee.  *whinnnne, cuss, cry*  I have to go now.  literally two hours and much heart, soul and most important, information!!!  darnit.  and I know better when I p[opulate a comments field I learned the hard way about copying into a notepad because half the time it doesn't go and gosh darnit...back in a bit.  sorry.  I did touch on how freaking stupid I am in my story too...

I have been getting calls also.  I called them back and ask that they take me off their call list.  Not sure this will help. They want you to give them your timeshare for a fee, which they explained, "you no longer have to pay your maintenance fee which keeps increasing and you owe it forever." If you stop paying this legal obligation your timeshare company reports your action as past due or delinquent and later as a charge-off. A foreclosure is the most single damaging transaction because it is real estate which will lower your credit score as a forclosure. This maintenance fee is why your church does want it or your children, and you can buy the same timeshare on the internet very cheap. Now many timeshare companies are telling another big lie, they will buy back your timeshare when you are through using it at the price you paid for it!  If you believe that after years paying for your prepaid vacation and occasionally able to use it for whatever the reason they buy another timeshare (points) for this privilege and see what happens! Shame on us for buying timeshare!  the misery never stops!

What do you mean they ran? They charged you a fee but you never heard from them? How much did you pay for the fee, was it $600-$900? Please reply....

Is it a scam? I have a timeshare that i bought 2 months ago and i want to sell it because i realized i can't afford to pay monthly payment of almost $400 plus HOA and annual membership. I received a phone call from Buy a Timeshare and they charge for the fee of $600 after $300 deduction offer. They guarantee that they can sell my timeshare and i'll get my closing cost back....

Yes, it is definitely a scam.  I received the same phone call from this guy.  He asked many questions about your identity and pretends to offer a lump sum for your timeshare.  He even requests to sign electronically over some website.  That is when I finally concluded it is a scam.  He pretends to be so mad and say don't wasting my time and hung up suddenly.  Where on earth they find these people?

Hi this is just madness to let them get away with these scams. Just refuse to pay and they will repossess it back from you. They would rather have it back and try to sell it on to the next mug. Sorry to say you like us have been prayed on like mugs. Trust me there are 1000 s out there that can't pay . They can't take everyone to the courts. Good luck.
