The call came from a company called BCTS (Bank Card Transaction Services). Saying that they were  working with Home Depot as part of the breach of security that took place with the stolen credit information. They were able to provide me with my birth date and last four of my SS#. They then gave me this number to call back and inform me of charges made to my credit card and needed to confirm information. They then stated that the card in question would be cancelled and a new card would be sent to my home within 48 hours. DO NOT FALL for it. This is a scam to get the information they need to purchase items by phone. As soon as I talked to these people, I contacted my card carrier and put an alert on my card. The next mourning my card provider contacted me and listed a bunch of charges that took place after I talked to BCTS. I have now cancelled that card and put stop payments. These people are good, but don't fall for it. CONTACT your card provider if someone calls about a questionable charge.
