- geteven replies to Corporate Travel SCAM junk faxesOh they are open Saturdays too, another chance to show them the love they deserve!
- A| 3 repliesI just made the HUGE mistake of falling for this scam. I received the fax and called about it. Instead of listening to my gut, I booked the "vacation". I realized immediately after giving her my credit card information what I had done. I asked for a website, and she said they didn't have one. I hung up and called my credit card and it had already shown up. I thought since I caught it early enough they would be able to just cancel the charges, but was told that they couldn't do anything since it was pending, but they would dispute it once it posts. I called the "travel agency" back and asked them what their name was. She told me Palm Coast Getaways, but the credit card shows it as Great Time Vacations. I asked her for their address and she told me it would be in a verification email...which I still haven't received, of course. I told her I wasn't waiting and I wanted the address now. She put me on hold before coming back and telling me once again that it would be in the email. I have never felt so stupid in my life! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!! Do your co-workers a favor and trash the fax if you see it. Calling to cancel the faxes won't do any good.
- FraudWatch replies to A| 2 repliesThey are in Florida and must abide by Florida laws, which provide for a 30-day cancellation. You can find the istructions here: http://boakes.org/amerivacation-cancel/. You need to do this as quickly as possible. Be prepared to cite the statute that covers this and DO NOT GIVE UP. This is your only hope of getting your money back.
In the meantime, you should also ask your credit card company to CANCEL THIS CARD and get you another number, or they will continue to drain it. That's the most important thing. Then dispute the charges at the same time you're trying to convince the criminals who ripped you off to reverse the charges.
Good luck. Now you understand why the illegal methods these criminals use are so profitable. - geteven replies to FraudWatch| 1 replyTHink about it this way ... when we clog up the phone lines at their boiler room, not only are we getting even, we are making it harder for potential victims to get through. Maybe this wil give some would-be victims a chance to do an internet search BEFORE they get ripped off. Keep faxing this junk back to the voice number. We are performing a PUBLIC SERVICE!
- (800) 640-9891| 4 repliesIt's the latest number used by the junk faxers at Island Reef Travel aka Island Reef Resorts aka Palm Coast Getaways (and dozens of other aliases they've used to evade law enforcement authorities like Fiesta Bay Travel, Coral Bay Travel, etc…, run by the same people who ran the Travelcomm scam. These jerks send the illegal junk faxes with fraudulent offers for impossible travel deals at $99 with roundtrip airfare included for two.
Until they go to jail where they belong, one of the most effective ways to get back at them is to use your fax machine to fax their junk back to them on each Toll Free voice number per junk fax they send. They're stupid and will answer it every time.
They are having to change their 800, 866, or 888 numbers more often now because a lot of us have figured out how well this works.
Here are the current junk fax scam numbers they are using as:
They are:
(800) 640-9891 and (((scam 1)))
(800) 203-8229 and (((scam 2)))
(888) 203-3533 ((((scam 3)))
(800) 942-1514 (((scam 4)))-link to www.ringcentral.com & quickly disconnected
(800) 558-4671 ((scam 5 rec'd on 4/13/2009))
ALL the above numbers and more are from the same SCAM travel JUNK FAXING company below!!!! They are using internet fax services like: www.ringcentral.com to make it difficult for anyone to trace back to them the many different Toll Free numbers they constantly change daily to AVOID being caught!!!!!
BEWARE they are SCAMMING people and will NOT remove you off the junk fax list they use!!! Just call all the numbers and speak your mind (not just once, twice, but everyday until the number is disconnected!!!
Or, just fax back to the numbers above and keep hitting redial. Either way, FLOOD THE BOILER ROOM with calls.

The hours of operation is from M-F 9:00am -7:00pm and Sat 9:00-200pm. They say they do not have a website or a fax machine!!! They will hang-up on you quickly when you mentioned the junk fax, say they do business with many companies and the fax was sent to you in error, they are very good about putting one on hold and not returning if you call about the junk faxes, say they are Coporate Travel Department (???)as well, and so on it goes with their many excuses.
SO fax away using the Toll Free voice numbers they have on each different fax and laugh back at them when you keep hearing them answer!!! KEEP hitting redail and if everyone continues to do the same, they WILL get the message!!!!
Most importantly, FILE A JUNK FAX COMPLAINT with the FCC. It is easy, quick, and necessary to do to go after them. FCC JUNK FAX COMPLAINT website is located at:

- neal replies to (800) 640-9891Do you know for a fact that RingCentral is one of the fax services that Palm Coast uses for its automated faxes?
- (800) 640-9891Neal-
YES!!!! We had sent the illegal junk fax showing the (800) 942-1514 to the FCC along with our caller tracing report from the phone company that we had setup!- Caller: corporate travel scammers
- BuckwheatKeep calling and tell them that you have a message for Wanda. Or better yet, call and ask them if they can accomodate a group...then make up a number of people in your party. From four or maybe 65 (tell them it's for your office party). Give them all the information they want (lie to them) and when they ask for a credit card, tell them you changed your mind and hang-up.
- Tom| 1 replySame scam with multiple numbers. The Government refuses to prosecute.
- Call type: Fax
- Maria in ILSame bullsh!t faxes as everyone else here. The FCC won't do anything about these [***] so might as well have some fun faxing their voice lines back, calling and blasting them with airhorns, etc.

- Brian replies to (800) 640-9891| 1 replyGreat post! I used to get mad at all the junk faxes I would get from these clowns. Now, I just get even. With an investment of $10 I bought an autodialer online from Kassis Technologies. When I get annoying junk fax I enter *67 (to remain anonomous) and the toll free number. I can dial them at no cost to me for hours costing them a lot of money while tying up their lines. If enough people would do this it would effectively put an end to junk faxes. With a toothless FCC the autodialer does provide some satisfaction.
- foneguy replies to BrianKeep in mind that you cannot really block your number when calling toll-free 800/866/888 numbers. I doubt they will take any action since so many of us are doing it, and they would expose themselves to many lawsuits if they did. If you are able to spoof you phone # though (we do) it's an extra measure of safety.
- MNWhen I try to fax back to clog their lines I just keep recaling. Any one else having any problems? Wonder if I am doing it right.

- Mn bus| 3 repliesTrying to fax back to them their junk on all three voice numbers but my fax machine keeps giving me an error message. Is there any certain number you need to press after the phone number? Since these are voice numbers can you fax back to them?
- Caller: Corporate Travel
- Call type: Fax
- geteven replies to Mn bus| 1 replySure you can fax back to the voice number, they answer it and you have wasted their time. They're getting paid to steal money and identity from people, and every time they have to answer a call from a fax machine, it makes the scam less profitable. Dont' worry about the errors on your fax machine, program it to retry to the maximum effect. They are criminals, the govt won't shut down their illegal faxblasting, so fax away right back at them!
- mn bus replies to getevenso the three fax # are 640-9891, 203-8229 & 888 203-3533 right?
I just cant get thru wont go. I did however call from all different phones & blow a blowhorn real loud at them & the last lady swore when she heard it. Made my day!!! - mn bus| 3 repliesI decided to fax pages out of my grocery store coupons to them along with assorted other junk I could find. Makes me no difference using up their fax.
