Caller didn’t leave a message on my machine and the caller id said “TOLL FREE CALL” which probably means scammer/telemarketer since every legitimate business I know leaves a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 types of traces and all were completely blocked. No person or business name, no general location(City, County, State, Country etc.) and no service providers showed up. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location by blocking a trace. This is the worse kind of scammer that is probably operating from a foreign country that is either spoofing dead phone numbers and/or using a Voip system while phishing for personal information and running a scam(s) (i.e. Microsoft or Mac Tech or Rep claiming you have a virus etc.). This is an extremely high tech scammer so beware.  DO NOT ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities.

The caller tried twice to get me to say "Yes" including the famous "Can you hear me?" line!
Do not pick up and do not say the word yes with ANY caller!!

I got a call with no message left. Another site had at least three people that said it's the Microsoft you have a virus scam.

Caller claimed to be Microsoft employee (not the old, evasive  "working with"). When I said I was too busy now but would call him back, he tried to set up another time to call. I asked again for his phone number and he said he would give it to me -- long pause -- then hung up. (Color me shocked!). Undoubtedly a scam, and quite willing to tell bold-faced lies.

Called me twice.  Today I answered and got the "can you hear me?"  Instead of saying yes I replied, mmhhmm.  It was a man with a middle eastern accent claiming to be from microsoft blah blah blah I cut him off, hung up and blocked the number.  Def a scam!

It keeps calling everyone. Perhaps bug spray, some sort of insect repellent may eliminate this thing.

Caller asked if I could hear him. I replied "what do you want". He hung up. Scam alert.
