    Recieved an EMail from Vanguard which requested I contact them at this number. Instead I called the customer service number for Vanguard and they told me that the number was bogus. Somebody is phishing.

    Received email from vanguard@vanguard.com referencing this number. Called regular Vanguard contact number (877-662-7447). The number is actually their special issues department that handles problems with online accounts. This was a legit number and call.

    I just got an email also. I've been in contact with Vanguard due to some recent changes. Thank goodness I was aware enough to be suspicious.  How do these pieces of crap  get away with this?
