Life Alert sales call.  Also follows up with plain green postcards that are printed to make them look handwritten.  No company name.  Just a personal looking note that makes it look urgent that you contact them.

They also call from (954) 240-2271, (773) 378-5003, and (unconfirmed) (609) 920-5264. In my case, I made an inquiry with them a few days ago on my brother's phone (with his permission, of course), but did not give them my number. They called my brother's number anyway, despite that.

I had the same experience already reported.  I was inquiring about the "Life Alert" system about a month ago.  Today I got a green postcard from "Kathy" according to the phone # search.  Post card asking that I contact her at this given phone number.  I did not return the call.  I have a security phone cut-off.  If someone calls and does not have ID as to who they are, the call is disconnected.  I had purchased another system...better and less expensive.

It is actually life alert. I just order one today. And if you go directly to the woman who orders them for you her name is Elizabeth and her direct number is 7863670032. If you decide to order one then you can give her my name and I will get a credit for that I Will get mines by next Monday. So I will confirm this when I do receive it.

I think that it needs to be returned and it cannot be passed on to others.

Wanda stop and think for a moment OK?
One, unless you've called them or are registered with their products, Life Alert doesn't call like that-it's called cold-calling.
Two, while this may actually be their number, did you ever stop and think that the number might have been spoofed on the caller ID to make the person on the other end seem legit? Sure they can claim over  the phone they are, but if they cold-call, I find it suspicious.

This is the number that Life Alert gave me to call them back when I had decided if I wanted their product.  This guy kept calling me multiple times a week until I got stern and told him I will call him when I am ready.  Now a lady is calling, but I let it go to voice mail and don't answer.  I won't get their product due to the harassment.

This is a scammer trying to get your information.  Go to www.lifealert.com and see this FRAUD ALERT..

It has come to our attention that senior citizens nationwide are receiving pre-recorded messages from medical alert imposters claiming to be Life Alert. These are unauthorized, unsolicited, recorded calls that invite you to push the #1 number on your phone to connect to a live sales person.

The recordings sound like a real person claiming that either “someone has purchased a Life Alert system for you”, or that “You qualify for a free Life Alert.” Other calls may say they are calling from a shipping department to confirm a free order or to send upgraded Life Alert equipment. These calls are not made by Life Alert. All of these are telemarketing scammers trying to mislead and defraud consumers by using our trademarked name so they can get your address, credit card number and bank information to charge you.

We would like to remind you that Life Alert does not employ telemarketers or perform cold calls so if you do receive a recorded call saying they are Life Alert or the “I’ve fallen and can’t get up” people, please DO NOT press the #1 button to talk to a sales person.

More importantly never give your personal information or credit card number over the phone to anyone in which you did not initiate the call.

Life Alert Emergency Response is investigating this nationwide telemarketing scam and is currently working with the authorities.

If you have any question or concerns in regards to this matter, please send an email to wecare@lifealert.com.

    Thank you,

    Life Alert

I have told these people to quit calling time and time again.  They have harassed and threated me .  I have told them to quit calling and they continue to call.  I have every call recorded  from them and have notified legal counsel.
