Got a card with this number on it with my name and address for a company that I don't even own or are affiliated with.

I think this is Idendity Fraud, since my house is being broken into.

They are going to be in Indianapolis March 27-29 also.  Mine also said a rebate of $1150.00.  If the rebate is that much makes you wonder what the actual cost of this thing is doesn't it.  The demonstration, as they billed it, lasts for 2 1/2 hours. I called and asked.  I too am glad I found this web site.

I got the same thing.  I received the typical (your name) Owner mocked up business card with well known brand names below my name AND address. An interesting bit of legal Jujitsu is the reverse of the "business card", which states "Our company is not affiliated with any of the companies named on the front side of this card".

They may change their ways when the Federal Trade Commission gets a hold on them.  The FTC have all the info on them now along with the BBB and the 3 credit bureaus.

They are hitting southern California with a similiar scam.

I got an invite to the vendor conference today which will be held at a  Hilton in Atlanta. I've heard a lot of horror stories about these type of events but since I have more time than money it got my attention. Thanks to you guys, I'll skip it.

Wow, glad I caught this.  I was actually semi-interested in this.  I usually toss these but this one seemed pretty worthwhile at first, but I decided to use my Google-fu and found this site.

So, what exactly happens at these seminars that makes them so horrible?  Is it basically just a scam to get you to spend a lot of money on their equipment, etc., or what?

I received a letter today from Wealth Builders Planet Antares Buckingham Parkway, Culver City CA. It's an invitation to the Radisson in Plymouth MA on May 2 and 3 2009. I also was told there would be a rebate check of 1,150.00.Gee my rebate dropped. I almost called to reserve my spot! Then decided to check it out on the internet. I am so glad I did. I also checked the for postmark. There is no stamp from the postal service but in the little post paid stamp the zip code 19446 appears. It is from PA.Thanks for the posting.

Did you check the links which reported the number of lawsuits filed against the company for fraud or the lawsuit filed by the State of Washington ordering them to "Cease and Desist"?  I appreciate your open-mindedness, but I certainly found the information here to be a compelling indication of why to steer clear of this company.

Got the same "invitation" in the mail today.  This one is for the St Louis Sheraton Hotel in Clayton for May 15-17.  Thank goodness for the internet.  This is just another  "get rich quick" scam that only makes the slime balls running it rich.

I noticed in one of their invitations, they include a business card with your name as Owner.  Below your info is Dr.Pepper / Pringles / 7Up / Oreo
Monster / Starkist / Hostess / Campbell's Soup ,  but on the back of the same card in small print they say, " Our Company Is Not Affiliated with Any Of The Companies Named On The Front Side Of This Card".  Why are there names on the card then.
